Slight audio sync issue at times. Second or less in most cases but you can tell because you'll call out a dud torpedo before it actually states its a dud or a ship flooding or hit before it actually happens.

I only noticed it in the first battle an then the problem seemed to get fixed, don't know whats up with that

It's only the narration, the game sounds are synced just fine.

I really advise against the micro adjustments you frequently make to your ship's course.
They are too small to meaningfully affect the situation but it sinks your hit rate every time you do it.

His play by play of Pearl Harbor is particularly good.
He lets the viewer know what each squadron was was supposed to do and what they actually did. For an attack that was so successful, they sure did make many mistakes. It never even occurred to me the IJN pilots could have been dropping the ball before I watched his video.

Yeah, and Lord Hard Thrasher has just started a series about the Burma Campaign. The Forgotten War. First episode was really good. He usually focuses on aviation and aerial combat but this series is shaping up to be fantastic.

While the AI is decent at managing gun ships, torpedo boats seem unfortunately to be another matter. That last battle could have gone very differently if it would just have taken all those torpedo boats and rushed your battleships.

You keep spinning the wheel just as you are about to fire, which is throwing your own gunners' aim off. It may be throwing the enemy's aim off as well, but the stability of the gun platform is a huge benefit of larger ships, which you undermine every time you do that. The Royal Navy is going to punish you hard if you don't sort that out before you have to face them!
When you were talking about the damage caused by a magazine explosion, My mind went to HMS Hood and the one-shot-kill by the Bismarck in the Denmark Strait on the 24th of May 1941 with the loss of all but three of her 1,418 ship's company in just three minutes, two years after she had been scheduled for a refit which was to have included, among other things, strengthening her deck armour, had it not been delayed by the necessities of the war. Of course, we'll never know if that refit might have saved her, but the loss does show how rapidly naval forces were developing in the period,, and the inadvisability of expecting a Grear War design to still be able to take on a Second World War development.
