I can't express how grateful I am for you and this video!!! I just got this same exhaust for my 2020 r6 - along with a servo buddy. lol. Its my first time attempting an install like this and I'm so glad your vide is so detailed! Thank you!
Glad that the video helped! One of the main reason why I decided to post the "FULL" video even though it was long AF. Appreciate the comment and thank you for subscribing! 👍✌😎
What a nice clean video man! Easy to follow. Thanks for this content 🙏
You're very welcome! Glad you enjoyed it and that it was helpful! 👍🤙
Favorited this video for future install 😁😎 thanks for posting 🙏🏽
Glad you'll be able to use it! 👍🤙
Thank you. This was put together very well. Gives me the confidence I needed to replace the stock can myself 👌🏾
You're Welcome, I'm glad that it helped.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account??
I somehow lost my account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Hank Derrick instablaster ;)
Very informative video!!
Where did you buy that servo buddy?
I bought mine online. I live in Canada so I was able to order it from baysideperformance.com. it took forever to arrive though. I believe Yamaha's website in the US sells the same servo buddy. www.shopyamaha.com
Nice job👍🏽🦾🏍 Very informative. So since you installed a servo-buddy, no ECU flash is required?
Nope, I would only do an ECU reflash as a last resort. Right now the bike feels great, no lag, no loss in throttle response. Only thing I might do down the line is possibly get a power commander but right now I'm really enjoying the back fire pops and flames out the back 🤩😜!
She sounds 👍🏽good!
Love the way it sounds!
I have a Yoshimura full system and this exhaust makes me want to change it. The pipes are bigger and nicer looking
I've been around Yosh for a long time, this Hindle sounds soooooooooooo goooooood man! 🔥💥 Even that simple little bass rumble while on idle 🤤
@@CHRGITUP are the headers bigger than the Yoshimura ones? Cuz they kind small on the Yoshimura I have I’d like bigger headers and the exhaust looks great the one you got
Most Yosh pipes are 2.0" from what I remember. I know they made some 2.25" ones but for limited models from what I remember. The Hindle is 2.25" which is the one I have. I think all Hindle pipes are 2.25".
@@CHRGITUP yeah I need a bigger pipe. The one you have looks really nice. Thanks for the information bud.
Ride safe! ✌🤙
Hey bud, great video! Just got the same one and was installing today, having issues with the bracket that goes behind the rear set! Did you have to make any adjustments or did it fit as is? Also O2 sensor isn't reaching the socket, what did you reroute that from? Thank you for your help!
Hey bud, do you have aftermarket rear sets or the OE ones that come with the bike?
For the O2 sensor, I ran the wire a different way. I believe I show it in the video which way I went and that at the end I held it up until I fully installed the exhaust bracket which brought it closer to the sensor.
@@CHRGITUP They are OE ones
The OE rear set needs a slight mod by cutting a small notch in the bracket to make it for just right. The bracket is "made" for aftermarket rear sets apparently.
@@CHRGITUP that's helpful! Thanks man! We shall ride together sometime, I am from oakville. Cheers
Yeah we should, come on by one day! I go to random bike meets here ans there. Any good ones in the Oakville area?
You are missing the rubber gasket the goes on the muffler mounting strap
The rubber mounting strap doesn't go on the carbon fiber exhaust. The manufacturer is actually working on an all black and carbon fiber mounting strap that I believe should be out this year.
I wanna see a video where you create and install a PROPER passenger seat 😎
Hahah I'm working on it! Geeez! Lol
I can’t see the bracket exhaust on my listing. Where did you buy that one? And what is the size or mm of the spring connecting to the front elbow?
Hey, not sure what you mean by your listing, however, everything I used to install the exhaust onto the R6 came in the kit from the manufacturer. Hindle (www.hindle.com/). The kit comes with the all the springs, flanges, brackets needed to install onto your specific bike.
I won't be able to give you the static spring measurements since everything is already installed in the R6.
Hey bro, I had my servo removed and installed a servo buddy with my slip on. I got a check engine light. Did you get one as well?
Hey, I do NOT get the check engine light at all with the servo buddy installed. I have not had any issues with it.
Great DIY info and video quality, where are you located? I wish I could pay you to help me modify my 2020 R6!
Thank you so much, that's good to hear! I am located in Toronto, Canada. How about yourself?
@@CHRGITUP I’m in Sacramento, CA.
I can do basic mods myself but I need help for more advanced modding.

I think yor R6 is < 2019 because in mine (2019), i 've got two O2 sensor. The hole where you have yours is "bouché". Now, i'll use this space to put my Bosch O2 sensor to use with my Woolich Racing log box pro + Zeitronix ZT1 (for autotune) -> tuto and vidéo in progress. @+
It's a 2020 R6.
Morning dude. Purchased this same exhaust system. Great step by step tutorial, very impressive.
Did your R6 require a Dyno post installation or is the servo buddy the alternative?
Thank you in advance. Keep up the great work!
Hey steven, great question. After I installed the Hindle full system I did NOT get the bike Dyno tuned, and it still isn't tuned. After using the R6 with the full system I wasn't feeling any lag or sputtering from the power on when on the throttle. If I did I would have gotten either the ECU flashed or placed a power commander on the bike to get the most out of it. The ECU flash is permanent and cannot be taken back to stock, however, once you remove the power commander the bike would go back to stock mapping.
As it stand I like the way the bike feels and love the back firing on deceleration, so for now it'll stay the way it is but in the future I will most likely throw a power commander on it.
As for the Servo Buddy, it is only there to trick the bikes system to thinking that the EXUP valve is still being used with the exhaust. When installed it stops the engine light from coming on after removing the servo motor and cables.
Hope this helps, have a great day!
@@CHRGITUP you mentioned you might throw on a power commander in future, hi I'm 8 months from the future 😂 Did you add a PCV? It would be awesome to see a tutorial on that. How do you even get at the lower injectors 🤔
😄 🤣 no no I didn't add a PC to my R6. Things are still running awesome and I won't be tracking this bike so I don't think it'll get a PC unless I'm given one to do content on 😶.
Their is a new power commander 6 out from what I read and it seems to be easier then ever to install. Apparently just a simple plug and play, however, I haven't had a chance to play around with it though.
Where did you get the carbon fiber fairings for the lower side,I can’t find them
It's wrapped, check out my Yamaha R6 Project video and part 2 "the reveal".
@@CHRGITUP oh okay coo
I looked everywhere also, I think you can only get it if you custom make it.
What lift are you using for the motorcycle?
It's the MC500R Hydraulic Lift from K&L Supply Company. klsupply.com
What license plate mount is that your using ?
Thanks for asking! I am actually releasing a video tomorrow at 12pm (EST), it will have all the current accessory Video and Product links along with CAD retail pricing.
What is the ground clearance after install the hindle exhaust?
Doesn't make a difference at all, if anything more clearance with the Hindle Exhaust. The fairings are still lower then the exhaust anyway as before.
I am talking about the ground clearance of r6 is 130mm and after you finish install the exhaust how much is the ground clearance of the r6 it is still the same or not?
What is the servo motor plug for?
I think you are referring to the "servo buddy" that I added to the wire harness. The servo buddy tricks the bikes system into thinking that the actual servo motor and it's mechanism is still on the bike, when in reality I have completed removed the servo motor and all it's components.
@@CHRGITUP okay makes sense I recently added a y pipe on my 2020 r6 with a a aftermarket slip on and after the install I have engine light and no throttle response like 0 but my 2020 has a 08 motor in and not sure what’s causing this problem…
did you have to get it tune?
Nope, no tune needed. I like the way it is for now no reason to tune it in my opinion.
@@CHRGITUP A ok. I was just wondering because I see a lot of people saying you have to get it tune once you put a full exhaust. But I think I'm gonna go with a full exhaust too.
It honestly all depends on how your bikes is reacting once the install is complete. If you notice lag or delay on the throttle while riding then yeah you may need to have it tuned or install a power commander on it.
@@CHRGITUP ooh ok Got it.
Smh 25:35 😏😂😂 new toy😂
AHAHAH I know right! Neighbor's might start hating soon!
