I didn't know what I was doing when I play infront of my piano but when I watch this video, so this is what it's all about. Yes I like to double and to triple with right hand and even doing arpegio with my right. Thank you for sharing.
I feel good and feel like will be a pro soon even though it been just a month I met your channel and joined your family buh will make sure I benefit and watch all your videos 🙏🙏🙏. Continue being a blessing for us I really love who you are and your playing
Warren is completely selfless in his willingness to share such transformative keys to playing successfully. Back in the day musicians in church used to prefer to take their secrets to the grave rather than share 🤣 The Lord has brought us so far 🙏🏾🙌🏾🔥❤️
This is wonderful and eye opening... Please can you please do more on your hand movements especially when doing the arpeggio on scales... I'll really appreciate it! Thanks brother
I love the sound of 6th I got into them listening to Charlie Parker and the other bebop players it pops up in their solos all the time. Cool lesson thanks.
I dont mean to be so off topic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my account password. I love any assistance you can give me
Thank you Warren, that's exactly what I have been looking for. It's a beautiful concept that I hope it will make a difference in my playing. However, I would like to know is the 6th interval played on the right hand random or it depends where the left hand is? Thanks
Yes you have to keep in mind the chord progressions player in the lead hand. However, if you play something that doesn’t match the left hand you’ll quickly hear that it doesn’t fit.
As always thank you for your knowledge sirr!!! I have a question that off topic I am a undergoing classical piano lesson, my goal to play hymn at my church... The thing is i dont really like classical iam kind of jazz/gospel guy... Should i stop classic and focus on jazz/gospel or should i focus on both. Thank you in advance GodBlessYou -ben Ps: sorry for bad english
I'm a new here and I wonder if you ever have done any video about those sort of chords that you play on, I mean how you mix them up . I'd like to know if you have any of them
Thanks you so much! It took a long time to find you. I'm having so much fun watching these techniques. I'm truly blessed with your teaching. Maybe you will do " How I got over " By Mahalia Jackson. Thanks.
Yes, ALL COURSES! The courses on Dvds are the same courses in the membership, just in a different format. With the said, the dvds are a separate purchase from the membership.
Hello Warren, pls can you do a comprehensive video on how one can become a well accomplished keyboardist. I have been trying all my best to improve on the keyboard, all to no avail. It seems as though I have hit a plateau and can't improve further. When I hear stuff that sounds beautiful and I know that I can't play it, I feel hurt and defeated. It is that pianists are born and not made or what? Is it a natural gift? Bcos it seems that way to me. Although I do not have the right resources, Eg. A piano teacher, a guide, a piano itself, money for tutorials and stuff etc. to get better but I do wonder if I can even reach my aspirations if I did have those resources. Currently, I only know how to play on Key C and I can only play a couple of chords. I am also the only keyboardist in my church (a very small church though) and it's such a shame that many times, I play horribly and I feel so embarrassed. I could go on and on, whining about my situation but I guess u get the picture I'm trying to paint. Pls Warren, can u help me. I want to be as good as you or even half as good as u are.
I feel t this point I’ve done quite a few videos on this subject already. I’ve talked about the mindset part, and I’ve talked about the practical part what needs to be done. Have you seen those videos?
Love it. Thank you! I need one clarification, when adding the 3rd to the interval for moveable chords does the 3rd remain constant or changes depending on the song's chord progression? ( major/minor)
@@PianoLessonwithWarren I wonder is there a dedicated DVD for developing rhythms while playing songs. You have various fantastic styles. Would you be looking at making that type of video please?
Hello great lesson as all ways but it's hard for me 2 play like u wish i could.I started playing in 11/05/18 then i played for my church 3 weeks later a little nervous but play D songs I am 54 and it's very hard for me to play in all keys i only play in 3keys A year and 2month in.I need help some of these song hard 2 play that D choir wants to sing Help!!!!!!! Fast.
You’re doing well bro brother, man people have be playing 10 years and still only play in one key. Keep the fire 🔥 burning and continue to practice and work at, you’ll get there :)
Hey Warren, what bass notes are you using alone with playing the 6th movement? I was trying to see your left hand on the bass note, but you move fast, you explain the 6th movement, but can you talk about the bass that you are using, I would like to learn the bass that goes along with the 6th movement, also are you using any other notes in your right hand in between the 1 and 6th? are you using just two notes or three?
Don’t think of this that way, think intern of progression. So if I’m playing a 1-6-2-5 progression in the key of C, the bass notes would be the root of the chord - C, A, D, G.
Here's a Good idea : Recently you showed us how to practice our Major scale in 12 keys. Now, a Good idea would be to show us how to practice Major scale in 6th in 12 keys with a special attention to fingerings . How about that ??

Unfortunately that’s not a question I can answer for you. You have to follow your heart my brother.
I'm a new here and I wonder if you ever have done any video about those sort of chords that you play on, I mean how you mix them up . I'd like to know if you have any of them
I have over 120 videos, lots on chords. Check the channel playlist.

Hi, Nice lesson, may you please let me know the truth for playing jazz. Thanks
Really great sound Warren but why is the chord reader defining an F and C# as Fm6? Isn’t that and Faug?
I can’t say, maybe was a glitch
Nice
Wonderful but can I request the same in the key of G major please 🙏 🙏 🙏
Do you apply it on each chord change or just the 1
It works on any chord. Its just like playing runs except it’s done on 6ths
When you get time , would you arrange a tutorial on how to play with smooth jazzy fills,I fail to hide the melody of the song when I play...
Some clarification Warren. When someone signs up for the $37 a month tier you say access to all courses -- you mean even the ones u have on DVD?
Yes, ALL COURSES! The courses on Dvds are the same courses in the membership, just in a different format.
With the said, the dvds are a separate purchase from the membership.
I do that with my left. 158 lots of options and my hearing picks up more and I build on things easier.
Awesome 😎

Oreoluwa Emmanuel yes, I channel is set up in playlist so use thy to your advantage.
Love it. Thank you! I need one clarification, when adding the 3rd to the interval for moveable chords does the 3rd remain constant or changes depending on the song's chord progression? ( major/minor)
It’s based on the key and the song
Thank you!
hey warren....thanks alot,i would really appreaciate anything in f# thanks
When are you going to do more videos on licks I really need it
Not sure as yet 😊🙏🏾
Alright 💪💪💪

is this video part of a CD on your website? if so, which one please?
No unfortunately it isn’t.

6:26. Pls tell me the name of this hymn (or song - not sure which one)?
It’s called “We Need You Lord” Jonathan Butler

So 6ths are the sound of all the piano covers you hear in chinese food restaurants XD

Hello Warren, why are you playing F and Dflat as 6th progression instead of F and Dmajor
Michael jejelola remember it’s all based on the key you’re in. In the key of Db there’s no D, but Db.
yeo..thnx much boss
In the video, you started with Major sixths and then you started playing minor 6ths. Which one is the correct to learn?
They two types of intervals. So long as you’re sticking to the key, so me with be minor 6th and some will be major 6th
God bless you
Thanks a lot you just solved one of my piano mistakes I appreciate your work dude
You’re welcome 😉
I THINK the introduction of “Silver and Gold” by Kirk Franklin starts off with 6ths.
