That's where you tell the new guy to go down there and watch the end of the pipe!!😂
😂😂
😂😂
Good thing for fast forward as I couldn't bear to watch all of that beautiful concrete being ripped out. Sorry for your loss.
Great video Andy
I got to say Andy I’ve enjoyed every video you’ve put out. Some more than others, but this one’s a classic. I love the banter of the guys Hooting and hollering and carrying on as that stuff was blowing out the pipe. The fade to black at the end was the icing on the cake if you will. Great show again Andy. thank you!
This is one of my favorite videos when she blew and shit went everywhere I even jumped back lol freaking hilarious and y'all commentary was great also 😂😂😂
Should have called Mike Rowe for that one
That would end up as an shitshow
Always something. I gotta hand it to you guys, your channel is a none stop menagerie of challenges. Always interesting to watch and like your other videos an opportunity to learn. Thanks
Great crew Andy. They sure are not afraid of getting in the stinky sheee----. Keep those guys on your speed dial.
That might be what Bud Light does 😂Good one Andy 🐄🚜🌽👍🇺🇲
Fun times on the farm again..glad you could get this set back figured out pretty quickly : )
Hi Andy !
The splash ! 🤣
Good job !
Thanks Andy for your time and everybody have a good day at the farm ! 🙋♂️
An expensive manure transfer system maintenance day. Glad it was only small section of concrete. If you could of only glimpsed just how many silage bunkers you would grow into in so few years when the original transfer pipe line was dug to the manure pit. Growing pains! It would have been great to had a second camera twenty feet back from the first to see all the scrambling people when the bags blew on threw.
This may be entertaining for us Andy but I feel your pain having to deal with these massive headaches. Thanks for taking us along.
LOL. That was a serious blowout!!!
Wow I jumped when I saw that coming
Now that was the Money Shot.
Hole in one
Hope to see Alex new tractor.what a job that plug was.😊
When you are not fixing your equipment you are the sanitary, engineer 👍🚜
26:45 Cmon cmon cmon... YES YES YES. Best video ever
At least you found the "gold bar" to make all that digging worthwhile. Gotta love dairy farming, never a dull moment.
Seems a sweep instead of a 45° would be best for turns. Glad you found the plug, but not be cheap.
Sould have a manhole at every turn!!!
Funny what ends up in drains 😂 Brilliant video 💪🏻 🏴
That was the best video you have put out and you got back at all of us for the comment section. Funny! We farmers have weird senses of humor anyway. Glad you were able to find the trouble and get the soup flowing again.
If they switch to a straight run later, they should put a 6" clean out up to the top of the concrete, flush mount cover, and step that pipe size up to 12", Not much gets stuck in 12". I had to dig up a main line in a street when I did engineering work and found a chunk of a garbage disposal stuck at a lateral with some clothing. It was a job in the winter too. We concluded that it was intentionally done on a foreclosed house but screwed up the city line too.
Good point. Add a long sweep as well.
I’ve a 12” pipe blocked at the minute,125’ of fall on a quarter of a mile run,the weight of slurry is huge.
Always something going on. Thank you for another great video. Stay safe out there. Cheers
I felt the same way on the toilet this morning 😮
I was so waiting to see that plug loosen up! hahahaha, good times on the farm!
A couple 22-1/2" bends would help but due to the high costs of having to dig that up I would consider either a larger pipe of laying a second pipe as a backup (assuming you put a new pipe in).
That was a great place for the camera. Yep, toco bell and beer will do it every day.
Holy shit Andy, ol faithful is an understatement. Keep up the great work you guys earned it on that one.
That's at least the second time you covered us with shit!! You wanna knock it off!? Lol!! I can't say I didn't see it coming...well, I didn't see it coming until it was airborne!!
Morel of the story...constipation is never a good thing and the best feeling is seeing it remove itself....
Thank you, Andy for another video.❤
Definitely enjoyed this video. I work for a municipality and sewer work is just part of the job. Probably rather deal with cow shit than human.
Loved the Taco Bell analogy!😂
We got an above ground slurrystore. It’s almost 2” from the top edge. Last nite we tried to get the pump going to pump it out. No go. Came back this morning and decided to take the front of the pump off. It has a Z pipe to raise the pump up from being under the foundation. At the bottom of the Z pipe was full of solids. Mainly wood chips from bedding. I used a bent T post and water from a pump at a creek to work out the solids. My brother had his hands on the knife valve once the solids gave way. And it did. Shit was shooting out pretty hard but we got the valve closed. Gonna haul tomorrow
I was waiting for the explosive diarrhea blast. I really needed a good laugh Andy ‼️
That was interesting that it made it that far before getting stuck.
Gotta love when shit that’s not shit gets in the shit pipe. Good thing everyone has a sense of humor on a job like that
I strongly suggest a manhole be built at "every turn" of a laid gravity line. That is the way an engineer would have done it. And all municipalities require them.
LMAO at the awesome manure shot! Great video! The best unplanned action shot of the year!🤣🤣🤣
He's one tough cookie- cutting that and protecting his safety glasses by keeping them in his front pocket. Superman eyeballs
Looks like lots fun on the farm😊, never a dull moment 😊
Draft beer and Taco Bell! Priceless
What a chit show !! But you gotta do what you gotta do. Glad to see you got it going.
Geez Andy wish you would have warned me !! Had to go get another shower after that explosion wasn't expecting that. didn't taste good either. lmao
I'm sure it's buried by now, but if you decide not to do the straight run, it would be better to make a triple 15 degree corner between the blocks, that way you would have a much smoother corner and much less likely to get things caught.
Not sure what the difference is between this video and real time, but a practical solution if you do need to get back into it.🤙
Thanks!
Thank you
I saw the end!!! I used to be one of those guys in the trench. Good memories !!! Better than working in the shop Andy!!???🤣🇺🇸
This video will go down as the classic. Thanks olgoat
I did a .25 speed playback, would love to see it a little slower when the pipe opened up...Maybe you can get some bucks for a camera ad showing everyone the lens can take a lotta shit and keep on tickin...😁 Great Video Andy, glad you found block and got it opened up.
Good video big job fun to watch.
Enjoyed watching this crappy video!!!!! Gotta love plumbing. Weather conditions great too!!!!!
Enjoyed!!!!!
LOL......
What'd you guys do this afternoon?
Watch shit.
Not a fun job, but obviously had to be done. Worst part from my standpoint would be having to rip out then repair the concrete.
Thanks for the video.
You found the blade of your problem going to the pit. That an expensive one to fix.
Any little Hick town can put on a fireworks show...in Navarino we go for the gusto! a climax and then a happy ending. Shoulda sold tickets
Reminds me of the SNL commercial for Super Colon Blow cereal. 😂😂😂😂
What a major project amazing
I think the price of milk just went up 😂😂🤣😂
Keep up the good work!
JIM ❤
Fixed one about 10 years ago. 12” pipe, had a calf in it. Died in the guys barn, alley scraper took it right to the pit.
Me too. Not fun is it
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊
Thanks, Andy that was a real poop show. The clog is never what you think it is I was thinking a crushed pipe. Very interesting. I confess I had to FF a little I couldn't wait. lol
Sucks! Very expensive fix! Hopefully you will not have to deal with this again ever Andy!!!!
One thing most people don't know about farming is the monumental plumbing jobs that arise. From wells to manure lines to irrigation to fertilizer and more. And it all needs fixed on days like this. Good job Andy, expensive but the only fix.
Best regards from Indiana.
You could put a catch pit in also, or
Nice work found the problem but expensive
Andy, Have you looked into a sand recovery system? It would pay for itself in maintenance alone for all the worn out parts you have.
No we haven’t
26:50 money shot!
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO ANDY😊
That will pull a trailer or anything!!! Sounds mean as hell!! Ford should have done a cummmins after they quit the 7.3. Good. Job…..
Damn Andy, you got me right in the eyes!!
Monday? This happened on a Monday? Hope that this didn't make the rest of the week shity? Glad you found out what caused it.
that was a big ol pooper shot..I was LMAO and bout jumped outta my chair Great Vid👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey there Hollywood, I hope this finds you well? 🙏
Andy, the title of this video should've been "Tharrr She Blowsss"
Looks like that plugged poop line turned into "The BIG Dig"
I've been watching all of your videos, even though I've not had the time to comment, which probably suits you.
I winced a couple of times during your Combine rebuild, and I took exception with a few things you said and done during your brake job, and I would've also put a new exhaust manifold on during your wiring harness replacement, other than that, it's all good!
I know you wouldn't expect anything less from me, just as I wouldn't expect anything less from you, my friend.
I hope you have a good one!
"Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌 👍 🇺🇸
A couple 22 and a half degree elbows spaced out instead of a 45 would probably be better
I have laughed more in this video than I did, when Andy decided to do a wheelie. The camera getting completely coated just topped it off! I’m so glad we were able to see this.
I wonder if anyone got blasted
Thats quite a thrust block on that 45! Not sure if thats gravity or a pumped line, but either way thanks for the video!
Not sure which surprises me most, the paddle down the pipe or the small bore of the pipe. An interesting event and especially when it blasted clear!
Sure looks ridiculously small bore
good shot
"That's what happens when you drink Pabst!" oh, an "oh yah, it got it good!"... I cringed when the camera took it in the face. great vid.
I would think about putting a full size manhole at both el's, the same thing they do to a sewer main in the street, they never use el's. that way you would not have to relay the pipe to the pit, and you woulg have a manhole cover a cement grade, so if you had another problem, its easy to open the manhole covers instead of busting up concrete. just a thought.
The Man hole cover would fly off.. That pipe is under pressure. It is not gravity fed..
@@m9ovich785 Your right, if you used a gravity cover, but they make lockable covers for this type of application.
@@vinnyp6685 HAHAAHAHAHAHAHA.
10 inch capped cleaned out on each end would do the trick.
Our trucks are 85 gpm 2500psi,carry up to 1000 feet of 1inch flusher hose, can clear most anything, even break up conrete
I do tons of sewer flushing for pig barns in our area
Perhaps a screen of some sort at the pump-end would stop large objects getting into the pipe. I'm thinking of say a steel bar grid of say 2 inch size openings. It should then stop the big pieces getting into the pipe but not provide undue back pressure and allow all the manure and sand to pass through easily.
That won’t work
AMDY your standing in the wrong place if their's Pressure in that pipe lol 😮😅😊
Look like Saturday morning. Light beer.😂
Nice.
Great visual and excellent reminder to the kids why not to eat Taco Bell!
What a project
26:48 nice lol
That was EPIC!!!
Only Andy could get 5k people to watch a sewer pipe get unplugged!
Reminds me of old times ! Well that sucks but at least you found it. Wondering if that is pressure or gravity system ? With pipe thickness and thrust block [the concrete, sometimes called a kicker] looks like pressure system. A gravity system has all straight runs with manholes at all turns with a concrete invert with turns , Y's T's . Been around few force sewer mains and they still have [larger] manholes with mechanical joint fittings with sleeves to make turns or connections so they can be taken apart [ usually city spec very expensive]. Even seen where services [sewage from a house] would have holding tank, grinder, and pump to inject into force main [ya sometimes s*** goes up hill ]. Looked like pretty knowledgeable and capable crew.
Well that was a taco bell moment if I ever saw one. lol
@DrainAddict would love this! 😂
Talk about a money shot!!!!!😅
2 22's and not close to each other. I learned the hard way
Just about the time I was saying OH SHIT.,.... The camera went black!! Perfect timing....
Russ
That was neat. Olgoat
Hey Andy feed your cows something better to eat taste like Shit on this end when we got hit in the face 😂😂😂 Best videos yet
takes the fun out of farming. always something that slows down production. not for sissys, sure do appreciate all you do for us chair potatoes.
Lol. To funny. But now relieved. Florida Joe
That's going be a big plumber bill😮
On a very cold day something always has to go wrong been there done that
What about a 4500 psi pressure washer with the ts-38 rotating nozzle on it and run it thru that pipe 1-2 times a season?I'm sure the Oil Industry came up with something to unclog huge runs up der in Alaska,eh? Fun times.
