This is one of my favorite chapters in all of the manga. It shows how these two had such an awful relationship at first (they hated each other so much) but even with such hate and probably resentment for one another, (seeing as Sebastian views Ciel as a brat and Ciel probably views Sebastian as a constant reminder of his abhorrent past) they grew from toleration to actual partnership. They became a dynamic duo, and although it took a lot of time, it's so interesting to see the result. Sebastian is the perfect butler. Ciel now has knowledge and practical skills that, as Sebastian said, rivals adults. And, probably the most important, they work so well together. That's why they are able to defeat their enemies and quarries with such ease and elegance. They can communicate and they can help solve any issue. That's why their relationship (and not how they feel about each other, but the whole entity of how they cooperate with one another) is so strong. They can still hate each other to death, but they work better as partners and crime-fighting buddies than most pairs in the real world. I love it because it's so interesting to see how they build from awkward miscommunication to this sly duo of Ciel and Sebastian. It's amazing, thank you for posting it!
2:46 if you look closely you can see there is a grave that says Ciel P on it. That could be an indicator that the others assumed he was dead and placed a grave next to his parents, or that there is more to this whole twin theory then wjat is actually being said.
Becca Burk I think everyone just thought he is dead. It liked like everyone was surprised when he showed up again (I do belive the 2CT but I wouldn't call this evidence)
