I’m learning that old school country really has amazing stories! My guy Roy Clark loved this girl but nothing he does is good enough for her! She’s milked him for his small fortune and never appreciative so when she tells him she is leaving and she gets on that Greyhound bus he is so relieved! It’s like a weight being lifted from his shoulders! @@davidleatherneck - Hee Haw was mostly shot in Nashville, TN so they could easily get C&W musicians and singers to pitch in. They recorded the whole season in two long gigs in June and October. No rehearsal and just go for it, that's why the show was so fresh for them and the audience.

Roy Clark has a few good songs. I never thought he had the most beautiful voice, but he could play the Hell out of a guitar.

Eddie Van halen said he thought Roy Clark was the best guitar player ever. He was a very talented musician. It wasn't shown in this song.

You should see Roy Clark play Malaguena on The Odd Couple. Malaguena is one of the most difficult guitar pieces to play and he Nails it!
