It's like when a roller coaster is at the top of the hill and it's about to go down. Same reason. Except instead of plummeting back earth at an uncomfortable speed, you're getting a bucket of water dumped on you.. What a thrill right? Lol still fun

I worked at this park as a pool technician. I repaired this ride, and all the other ones. I am glad the family enjoyed the trip. There is now a ropes, climbing course now there also.
just came back from great wolf lodge. I went on the tornado near the wavepool. very fun!
I think that Mrs. Wranglerstar was enjoying the water slide as much, if not more, than the boys! I love that she was giggling like a kid. That was cool. I am glad you guys had a good time.
We have one here in Michigan. A great place for the whole family. Loved it!

Ok so I've been on this ride 2 times and its not scary going backwards its scary going foreward cause it so steep you feel like you are gonna fall forewards cause I was foreward both times and I felt like I was gonna fly off and hurt my self so if you can choose your spot I recommend the side or the back

I loved great wolf lodge.I loved the drop one where you stand inside that little chamber thing and it drops you.I went to the one in Colorado when I visited Colorado.
Same I'm here right now at first I was scared to ride this ride but then I went on it like 20 times or more and it was the best
I just think about the primordial soup that is public swimming pools whenever I see these water parks.

They are at the one in Washington.. I can tell. Plus, the Howling Tornado is VERY VERY fun! I was very scared the first time though.

I went here once on a Girl Scout trip and we went on howling tornado. One of us fell out of the inner tube (the section at 0:52) and I had to get out of it to help her get back in while simultaneously making sure the inner tube didn’t keep going
Oh well that’s not a very fun ride

When I wad at great wolf lodge I went down that backwards it was terrifying I was crying
looks like a lot of fun have thought of going many times as it is only a few miles from home might just have too.
headed there soon.. Grand Mound... hoping the waterpark will provide fun for teens and preteens, since it looks like it caters more to the younger crowd, the under 12 crowd. And of course, I'm hoping the breakfast buffet is good, since that'll be what we will spend most of out GWL food budget on.

It’s really scary when you go on the drop I counted to like 3 and busted my nose luckily it didn’t bleed on the tornado
I went to Great Wolf Lodge, I went on that ride and I did not know there was a drop, and it was so so so scary
I went on the Howlin tornado and it was so scary I almost fell off but then my uncles hat blew off to and my aunt said hold on it was awesome I saw the wave and it reminded me and it reminded me of the waves at the beach to go to the beach every year

Bring from central Komifornia, an indoor water park in the PNW is a bit crazy. All of ours are outdoors and for good reason, its 108 here this week.
Hello: Great fun. At 2:58 I think you were showing us what can happen on a drill press. That's why I have a machinist vice on my press. A piece of steel can cut you worse than a knife.
going backward is honestly better. depending on the person who sends you down, you can have a really unexpected spin before going. so wherever you sit in the float is fun

HOWLIN TORNADO REVIEW:i went on it last year when i was 12. it looks way scarier then it is. the drop is not the big or long. i was going backward s on the drop but it was no biggie. if ur scared to go on it pls remember that i hate vv scary rides and this is way more fun then scary. a little nerve racking the first time but if ur 8 and up i assure you that ur gonna have the time of your life. i recommend this ride to everyone. also who else went on it and loved it.
