I fell down at 19:39, if i didnt fall, i had only 1 rope left, i guess i was only really 65% the way there. I had set my bivuac way too early in the level and i think im going to have to redo the mountain again.
Spent an hour and a half climbing this yesterday and stopped at 3000m with my Bivouac, checked out your last run to see if I'm past halfway and my heart sunk to see I was 8 minutes in to your 36 minute run so I guess I'll see you in 6 hours 🙃
Man, when I got to this and made what felt like good progress, I then look at your video for reference (I like to see your videos to see how close I over all am to the end). my heart sank as I realized I had made about 2 minutes worth of progress, compared to a speedrun that was around 30 MINUTES LONG!!! This is truly a challenge that might take days to accomplish, but damn if ill try, even if it would take even longer, I WILL DO IT!!!
spent 4 hours on this without using a rope only got to 7 minutes in before i fell and quit. Thought I was nearly there and got mad at myself. After seeing this, I think its best if I unlock the other items and use the safety harness lol.
Damn, another 16 minutes! I am sure the remaining challenges for you are more manageable than what you already go through, except including this final boss in the full game speedrun, of course. In fact, I have some requests for you about this game, did you know that in the 2020 demo of this game, there is one final level removed in the final game?
24:15 i feel you my man. Doing all the mountains in order, currently at st. Haelga. Not looking forward to the next three especially due to the fact i have a fear of heights
So i did this in one day. Took me 8 hours. Luckily, i hadn't fallen a single time (i was harnessed and using ropes). Though, there were some stressful moments and it was really fun to play this through, despite it being insanely hard. I took a break at the 4000m point, which was 4 hours in. In the end, i had only 5 ropes left (out of 42 that i originally had). If you can, its a must, since the feeling this gives after you actually finally beat it is satisfying.
It took me something like 10 hours separated into two 5 hour sections using cringe safety harness spam without long rope nor pipe, after i made it up i felt like i was reborn and i can suddenly climb every other peak without ropes, and i no longer care about falling.
If it's unconquered, how'd the stamp get up there? And how is he supposed to get down? Belly flop down past those desiccated corpses, and black out for one second?
You actually put the box and flag up there yourself on your first finish and I’m sure the character just falldamage cancels by aggressively jumping at the all and putting the ice picks in ice at the last possible second, the plan is very human….
Decided to look up the speed run for this after I saw Spiff’s video, and I am now fearful for his sanity. Cool speedrun, too. Good job
He is really gonna suffer once he gets to this final boss. Like I can't even do the Great Gaol!
@@Dullsonic3 I don't know how spiff did great gaol with less ropes than me and I can't even do it 💀

I see a few people flail their arms forward and back in these runs. Do they make you faster or something?
You get a bit of forward momentum so by spamming it you extend your jumps quite a bit

The length of final boss is longer than the rest of game combined, you should be able to tell it now.
You got this!!
did you win?
Skill issue
3000m is semi close to half way. The half way point is I think 3700m
People in Scotland just be built different huh

I don't have much free time so i had to climb this mountan for 2 DAYS (with breaks of course) and today i finaly summited! Best feeling ever!
this looks fucking impossible even casually what the shit
How sweaty are your hands?
I love that one of the main strats in this video is to just flap your arms around like a lunatic.

I just watched old demo footage and noticed that! maybe the def will add a version like that in his DLC he's working on
@@mrgringus916 Well, if that can't happen soon enough, could you download the demo to showcase that level, after you complete everything in your plan?
@@mrgringus916 Wait, someone already did it. Why I didn't find it last time...?
Well then, it's up to you to have some fun or not!

just watching this induces anxiety in me.
The strategies here do not translate to made an abyss, I started hallucinating like a motherfucker.
Bro i was glued to the screen damn there were no words but the whole video was like a grand story with tension, twists and what not, bravo.

me thinking I was close to 3/4 of the way up, watches video -- im 11 minutes into this 30 minute speedrun. Ouch.
30 minutes for a speedrun? Ya, I dont think I am even going to try these final peaks.

Because this is not his first time beating it. The protagonist puts that flag and stamp box at the top, when the player summits it for the first time.

29:36 imagine failing this jump
Very nice Mr. Gringus !
Pov. How you dad said he went to school
Ah yes the ancient techniqe of flying😂
I just spent like 4 hours doing Ymir’s and checked the time. Then looked at this. I’m scared
You're totally nuts. This is very impressive.
i wonder if sub 20 is theoretically possible
this run was insane :o
It is possible now!
