- Wanted to give everyone a walk thru of my 2019 Lund Adventure 1775. This is a relatively new model to the Lund line and has been a great boat for me. I also run the Lund Adventure Owners Facebook group page where this will be posted so if you are in the market or want to find out more look for us there!
Dan, just wondering what mount that is for the Helix 10? I've got the exact same setup on my 2021. Nice boat!
It’s a ram mount. I didn’t personally pick it, dealership installed the helix 10 when I pieced the boat together, so I’m not exactly sure which of the ram mounts it is, but I’ve been very happy with that mount. Very sturdy, screen never moves.
Do you like the Ultrex? Is that pedal in the way? I usually see that set-up on bass boats. I have a Terrova but looking at something newer.
Love the ultrex. I mainly bass fish so I use the pedal a lot and nothing beats the power steering. It is a little bit bulky, but I wouldn’t say it gets in the way of anything. If you use the pedal with any frequency at all the Ultrex is the way to go.
Dan, that live well lid liner that falls down seems to be the perfect application for some adhesive backed velcro from JoAnn Fabrics. Put a 1 inch strip in each corner of the liner and with the mating material on the live well lid and you'd be good to go. If you want to permanently stick it, 3M automotive trim tape from any auto parts store will stick it to the lid for a long, long time.
Thanks! Automotive trim tape sounds perfect. Don’t think I’ll ever need it to come out, and trim tape should be waterproof. I’ll give it a shot, thanks for the suggestion and for watching!
Beautiful boat. Does it fit in your garage? Do you store it in your garage?
Yes I store in my garage during the open water season. With the swing tongue the storage length is about 20’ long.
@@dansidlefishing how wide is the boat on the trailer (distance between fenders)? Lund says 7’6”, but not sure how accurate that is.
@@christopherb3802 just pulled a tape and 7’6” is accurate.
@@dansidlefishing thank you!
how's towing with your Pilot? would you say the Pilot is adequate as a tow vehicle for this Adventure?
Very good towing. Gets good mileage and pulls with no issues. I did add the transmission cooler, which increases the towing from 3500 to 5k. Mainly just for piece of mind.
Thanks for the video. Looking at purchasing the same boat so I'm trying to educate myself before I go talk to local dealers. If I make the leap, I'll be hyped for spring (it's going to make MN winter drag on for me, though)! I just wanted a new motor for my 32 year old Alumacraft but wife said "why don't you just buy a new boat? Yours is too small for taking whole family out". Who am I to argue with her!?
Minnesota winters kill me! I keep it out as long as possible in the fall and get it out as early as I can in the spring. It’s a great family boat for us. We have 3 plus a dog with plenty of room to roam for everyone. The difference in the 1675 & 1775 is in the main floor space. That was a big selling point for me.
Can 2 person fish bow, how stable is it, does it rock side to side? Thanks
boat is very stable we fish up to 4 guys no issues
What’s that sticker behind the steering wheel?
Fantastic boat, where’s my tackle bag?
eBay
bow looks much smaller in this video than it is in person
2021?
This is a 2019, first model year. Really the only thing that’s changed is black trim on the windshield Vs the silver that I have.
