Always glad to see Angmar doin their thing- but kudos to the MT boys for holding the line! I gotta say, flitting between the dice tray and the board had me getting dizzy so I had to skip around some- but loving the games!
Great bay rep guys. I play both these armies so fun to see how others utilize them. This is a good example of competitive vs casual play. I have a feeling that if this was a timed tournament game, Angmar wins. But as you play to Scenario end results, the Courage (Angmar weakness) comes into play. I actually disagree at 43:06 regarding the middle deployment. To counter Boromir’s banner, you want to spread out. By playing into the bubble/major choke point, Boromir and Friends were allowed to line up all game and hack through Orcs. After flashing killing Imrahil, the focus would have been to Sap Will Boromir, then Paralyze (so he’s useless and the Banner is down). You are playing with a +2 VP lead for Killing Leader. From there, focus on the 2 middle objectives and control your back. A Dead Marsh Spectre is GREAT for this. High Courage and can make incoming models turn back.
