@Axeman. Hey bud, I was at the Virginia race this weekend and in the stand in front of me was a family that had 2 lil boys. Both boys had styrofoam axes, and the older boy told everyone that you let him sit in the car. I don't know if you know this or not, but you 100% unlocked a core memory for those lil boys, just by being a cool dude. The oldest told everyone about you, and the younger one held onto that Styrofoam axe with a death grip for most of the night. Good job Axeman. 👏
You and AxLady are my kind of people brother. JJ is the same way, along with his crew. Id have a beer with you guys anytime! Keep up the good work Ax! Cheers brother!
You made the smartest decision that any racer has made. The Noonan small block Hemi is the best motor out at the moment. They make ridiculous power and since it is a small block the weight restrictions is way lesser than the big block. The low end boost that the combination makes is second to none and the top end is insane. Once you get it lined out perfectly you will realize how much of a smart decision you made. Congratulations on the Cuda hopefully we can see it running soon and please if you are definitely not going to paint it put a wrap identical to the Nova. I wish your videos working on the race cars would be a minimum of 30 minutes. You have enough content for that. Thank you again for sharing.
I really like the Barracuda. It's the first hot rod that I can remember riding in. My step dad showed up with one after work one day. My mother wasn't happy. She didn't say anything for several days. She eventually learned to like the car. Got to say though, being under that massive rear window was hot on a summer day, and the car didn't have a/c
feels good to have good people like this to represent VA. being from Virginia myself if gives me inspiration to work on my hotrod and be like ax one day.i know logging is hard work iv done my share .so to do that kind of work and still have energy for the high caliber racing you do and family is respectable. Cant wait to see how the new set up does bro good luck and give um hell.....
Appreciate the video, small suggestion. Can you look into a mic ? With the echo in the shop, my messed up ears had a hard time hearing. I see a lot of channels are going that way. Good luck this season.
@@allenlord3679 I " listen " a lot at work, so I always have an ear bud in. I'm sure it's a lot better if you can actually watch as well, I'm not able to do that at work. I'm a logger myself. And I know all about the hard work it takes to make it logging. Good job Ax man and I can't wait to see that small block in action.
Nice video Ax, I’m always rooting for ya. I’m also a logger. 3rd generation. I operate rubber tire skidder here in northern ca. pays for my race car also. Kick ass this year bud!!!!!
Great to see you back in it. Love the Work Hard Play Hard philosophy!! Good call on the separate cars for the track and street. You can focus on each a event better and be more consistent!👍
Seeing your family business and mine it’s almost identical how our businesses operate. 50 years now and we been dirt round track to drag racing. Second generation in our family business and we have third gen starting soon. Hard work and no days off pay off
Frickin Awesome CANT WAIT to see that Barracuda in action wish you guy’s nothing but the best! Been wondering when someone was gonna pull the trigger on run a Barracuda!
What’s up in Altavista Virginia from Orange Virginia Axman and Axlady. Nice new whip. Just do whatever it takes to beat Ryan Martin consecutively because he has it coming.
I completely understand the swap to a “small block”. I’d make that change to, to dodge the added weight that was put on the procharged hemi combos this year. Shawn has proven that the 4.6 bore space small blocks can make the power to run with the big hemi’s. Really excited for the new car. I’ve always loved the Cudas.
Loving that Barracuda! I'm close by in Appomattox and my son lives in Altavista. I grab a club from Two sisters everytime I'm in town. If you need some help working on the cars let me know, I can provide some free labor for ya . Thanks for repping Va the way you do 💪🏼
Hell yeah. That's the way to do it. 2 cars. That Cuda looks nasty. But BBC yeah. Axemans right. The change over is so hard to overcome,.....you and up racing yourself instead of the other racers and the track. It's like walking into a boxing match with a blindfold when trying to change the car over. It's so so tough.
A lot of folks are going to the Procharged hemi. Are y’all going to the small block to save weight or will that motor keep the shake down to a minimum? Either way... I like it and will see it perform soon!
Great stable of race cars. Should do great . How (small) is the small block ? Much respect to both of you, great for the sport. Race fast - stay safe .
Not that small of it's a 4.6 bore space small block because the 4.6 bore space SBC similar to the engine Murder Nova runs in his NPK car they start as small as 470+cid all the way to 540+cid
AXMAN when will the barraCUDA b done!! LOVE THEM CARZ!! I HAD A 70 'CUDA back in the good ole days! Can't wait to see that car finished. I've never seen anybody with a barraCUDA so far on street outlaws! This will be the first one!

Yeah then season 2 of Americas list Ryan ended @ #1, they just haven't showed it on tv yet. Odds are Ryan is going to win NPK's again this year's running. So it's basically Ryan's World right now. Everyone else is just racing for 2nd place. Sad but true!
