Nice to see the Sutton’s out and about! Now there in the museum! The Sutton coaches have seen a lot of use mainly hauled by 04! But now they are all of to overhaul and then being moved to little barn railway

    A Wonderful Video.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video watching it several times over, and by the looks on some of the faces of people young & old (dogs too), so did they.
I looked-up Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway & found that it has a long colorful history. The "Sutton Flyer" is my choice.
    Thanks-A-Lot for this one Ken, it's a keeper. . .

Ive visited the CCLR many times and the their Atlantics do look tiny against a RHDR engine don't they! Typhoon is a massive beast...nice to see it escape from Romney for a while though...Very good 5*

I don't think I've seen this one before.
What's interesting about the narrow guage is the variety of sizes of engine that you can get on the same track. Look at the difference between no.24 and no.2 for instance at 0:30.

The CCLR Number 24 is based on the Sandy river number 24. I'm fairly sure it's the CCLR's most powerful locomotive. It seems to do most of the work.

@raymondo162I loved the 'Emmet' style locomotive at the beginning and was sorry to not see it come out. Like you, I was looking at the track and thinking that when it grows up its going to be a great roller-coaster.

Great video! I'd have to say my fave engine is the 24 but maybe that's just cuz i'm from america. An american engine looks so weird blowing one whistle for the crossing, it'd look alot better doing long long short long like in america ;D

I think it's the original whistle from Duke of Gloucester, actually.

Locomotives look fantastic.......... rail-laying looks a bit questionable tho..........

is there a greater looking engine than any of those from the RHDR?

RHDR probably have the best collection in large miniature steam, but I would say the Ratty along with several other railways have equally as good engines and it would be hard to choose one.
