whenever i see monica hug jason, he never is the first to reach out. i've only seen him do it two times though, but after theses years of not knowing her he finally does so he should love her for her ambition. i just wish they had more moments like these. it becomes so real when jason closes his eyes. thats a true hug
Jason and Monica scenes are the best! I remember being disappointed in Monica when Susan died and Jason went to live with Qs, she was so cruel. The decision to have her finally welcome and love him as her own was one of the best decisions on GH.

I couldn't imagine loving a child his whole life and him forgetting you, then wanting nothing to do with you - so glad having Michael made Jason realize how he hurt his mama! too bad it took until like 2009 for Jason to realize this about Alan, after it was too late!
Dee Iavarone once when she was talking about him rescuing her in the motel room. She said that made her realize her son did love her.He said, “ Of course I loved you. You were my Mom.”
That was so sad & touching. I'm glad Jason got the experience of being a parent so he could put himself in Monica's place finally. ( wish he & Alan could have bonded too ) just imagine u love your child so much raise them have all these memories & one day they just dont remember you anymore. That's heartbreaking & monica is crying bc she has wanted to hug her son & have him hug her back. Before he would not even touch her & screamed at her & almost hit her when she slapped him for trashing his room. This whole michael thing should have made all the qs start to build a bridge like monica started here. I really felt that when she grabbed him tight.
AJ fought to regain his sobriety and Carly destroyed that by drugging him to make him think he'd started drinking again. The Q's barely acknowledged the frame up and that AJ had been clean and sober all along. But yet Monica has all the time in the world to validate Jason, who's a mobster, that he's the better parent for Michael. Unbelievable.
True, and good point, victoria. I realize too, I'm responding to this years after you wrote this. Oh well, but I do agree with what you said, completely. I think you're the only viewer I've seen lately who has brought that up, besides maybe neishalovesgh. I hate how they treated AJ over the years and yes, as you said, how they barely acknowledged the fact that he had been set up by a liar and schemer, Carly, when in fact, he had never drunk at all. They should have never let her come into their house after they learned that.
I've been watching GH for 45 years and I remember everything this episode with our Monica and Jason has me in tears all over again really 2023 GH needs to bring Jason back with his memory before the car accident when him and Aj were brothers and their was no CarlyBabes around because she is the worst thing that ever happened in the history of GH real talk 💯💯💯

Jason has always been a mama’s boy, even if he didn’t remember his mother. His connection with her has always been strong.
This was the only silver lining in the whole custody battle for Michael
