Fr. Carlos Martins doesn't support this movie Pope's exorcist because he said that it's a Hollywood garbage, they mis represent the ministry of Fr. Amorth. Instead he endorse & support the "NEFARIOUS " which he said that it's a well done movie. When I watched both the trailer I did see the difference, base on the trailer I would pick to go watch the NEFARIOUS.
We must be careful not to spend too much time dwelling on the devils. They are profoundly evil and look for opportunities to enter men. Please pray your Rosary with great love.
I never understood the mentality that you speak of. What is spending too much time? It is good to be knowledgeable about evil. It’s good to know your enemy and how to protect yourself.
He’s actually right, our main focus should always be on God. Obviously we need to know about the tactics of the devil and demons but the more focused on God we are the less power demons have over us
@@laraluna9365 the belief is - and it makes logical sense if you believe - that the demons and the devils want your attention. They want you mad. Angry. They want you thinking evil or unclean thoughts. They want you divided from family, friends, and even strangers.

I just listened to this lecture on the demons last week. It explains a LOT about the progression of our society. His lectures are always at least an hour long but so fascinating that the time goes by fast. This particular lecture is 3-4 years old but very pertinent to understanding things today.

That's powerful stuff!! I just read a book by Jonathan Cahn called the "Return of the Gods" which details all of this. He had it narrowed down to Baal, Ishtar(Lilith) and Moloch who I believe can also be called Baphomet. What a time to be alive!

Asmodeus is the demon of lust. He is also very wrathful as well. He is a prince of hell, or a king of hell in some texts. In the tobit, he is first seen when Solomon enslaves him to build the temple of Jerusalem. Solomon uses a ring to mark and trap the demons to do his work. Asmodeus tells Solomon that he destroys marriages. Solomon becomes to comfortable in his power over the demons, and Asmodeus takes advantage of this and gets solomon to take his ring off. Once he does, Asmodeus flings Solomon 400 miles into the desert, then casts the ring into the sea where it is eaten by a fish. He then takes over solomons kingdom and his concubines. Solomons lover is then able to find the fish and return the ring to solomon. He is immediately transported back to his kingdom where he takes back his control and defeats the demon.
In the book of tobias, Asmodeus is in love with sarah. Sarah is set to be married, but her future husband has lustful intentions with his new beautiful wife. God gives Asmodeus permission to kill her new husband, so he does. This happens seven times. Seven lustful husbands, all allowed to be killed by Asmodeus. Finally, tobias is set to wed sarah. While out in the desert with his companion, who is the arch angel Raphael in disguise, tobias puts his feet in the water and his toe is bitten by a fish. Raphael then instructs tobias to catch the fish. Later, tobias weds sarah and Raphael instructs him to gut the fish and burn the heart, the liver, and the gallbladder in the bed chamber before consummating the marriage. Tobias does so, and the smoke drives the demon to Egypt, where Raphael is able to capture and bind him.
In other lore, Asmodeus is the keeper of gambling halls in hell. He is a more mischievous demon who actually has some affection for man. He is known to cause trouble for newlyweds by creating arguments between them. He is also responsible for fornication and adulty. He also takes away the beauty of virgins. He is said to have three heads, one of a man, one of a bull, and one of a sheep. He also has the leg of a rooster. He is also said to appear in the form of a very handsome man with a limp. If you were to ever see him naked, which you might because he is so lustful, you will see the limp is because he still has the leg of a rooster because demons cant take on a full human form. This is why demons dont appear as a full body apparitions like angels, saints, mother mary, or even ghosts from purgatory. Demons are always seen as shadows, part apparitions, mist or smoke, or in their demon form. Asmodeus can also appear as a black dog. He loves to pervert sex, and so is said to love having sex with women while they are menstruating. He is also said to not lie as much as other demons, and if you suspect he is the demon you are dealing with, you can ask "be you asmodai" and he will respond "i am".
He is said to form devils pacts with men who have lustful desires of sex, money, and power. In the 1620s in loudun france, he is said to be one of the many demons involved in the possession of the nuns. The priest of the congregation was said to have made a pact with many demons for power and control, and the lustful desires of women. A document presented at the priests trial is said to be this very contract signed in blood. Asmodeus is one of the signatures on this document. Many scholars believe this was an attempt to execute an innocent man who was a critic of the bishop, others believe it was true. Either way, the supposed contract still exists, and you can see it and read the pact and see the signatures and decide for yourself. I hope this gives people who seemed a little disappointed, a little bit better understanding of the demon Asmodeus.

@@AriseandShineSleepers: Yeah Asmodeus sounds like Sauron (lord of the Ring) in the second age when he acts advisor to the prominent king Ar Pharazon whom he advices to wage war against the gods, destroys the temple and the whole city and are making them committing human sacrifices.
In the film Mystery of the Masks of Mammon, all of the different names of the demon called Asmodeus in Latin, are explained for several cultures. This film was produced by a 'cave prophet' and really takes the veil off of this crafty demon of LUST. The part you mentioned about Solomon is not in the Book of Tobit in the bible. I'm not sure how much about Solomon having demon workers is actually authentic because it's certainly not in the Bible.
Okay but why is the Fr. Ripperger think he is the Dämon of homosexuallity? He is all about the women...
I look up about the lore of Leviathan too and... nothing about sex only chaos and envy and a bit of Tiamat and maybe a bit of the egyptian chaos Snake.
So for me as a psychoanalyst this sounds a bit of Shadow projection on the side of the this priest.... so everything the didn't like about himself gets externaizied and demonized.
And good to know that Jung predicted the end of mankind and who fault it would be .... shadow projection.

How about integrating your own shadow Fr. Ripperger instead of projection your own evil (which most people are blind for) part on the outside world.... or do you belive this is the way to heaven by projecting your own mess on others like Putin?

I always thought the Princes of hell were Beelzebub, Asmodeus, Leviathan, Belphagor, and Mammon. I was also taught the Demon of child sacrifice, was the demon "Molech."
That is probably true as well. I figure these demons are called more than one name in different cultures

Do not ever think you can outsmart a demon, even a "weak" one. They have existed since before time, and know secrets of life and the world that we can't even imagine. The ONLY way to make a demon leave is to ask Christ for help. Most of the time, a demon can be given orders (from Heaven) to leave you, without there needing to be an angel present. Kind of like a phone call. However, if a demon is powerful enough in rank to hesitate or resist an order to leave, Christ sometimes sends an angel that outranks the demon. In turn, the demon and the angel will sometimes fight until the demon is forced to leave, whether it be out of exhaustion or fear of more powerful angels arriving. This type of scenario is documented for us in the book of Daniel in the Bible, when a messenger angel is "detained" by a very high ranking demon, and Michael the Archangel is called to free him. Michael was so powerful, that this demon had to call another demon for help, and still Michael won.

The movie "The Pope's Exorcist" is not a movie that represents demonic possession or the Teachings of the Catholics Church accurately. Father Chad Ripperger has said as much, and does not recommend this movie.
Agreed. I've actually made a review of the movie yesterday. Just another typical Hollywood movie, trying to showcase the power of the devil.

He's right. I saw it all in my 60 years. America was a much different place when I was a kid. We had problems with inequality and injustices, but it seemed different. Now it's the "don't judge" thing... that's just BS, though, because by not judging you are saying that you have no standards and anything goes.
I can always tell if a person (claiming to be a Christian, which I think makes it even worse), is proud of all their fornicating, and has done plenty of it, with many different people. A few phrases they all use consistently. No one can judge me, only God can (you can tell those people would tell off God to His face if He condemned their sin to their faces). Everything is forgiven anyway. I can actually think back, it became more common for young women to speak this way, leaving out sin, just, "it's all forgiven anyway", you won't hear them verbalize in recent years that pre-marital sex is a sin. Read Corinthians chapter 6, it is very clearly and harshly condemned. There may be one or two more, but its consistent. They don't genuinely consider screwing many random people they aren't married to, to be sinning. Its obvious. And they go to church every Sunday, and talk about their relationship with Jesus. When they die, God will say, "I do not know you" . I've had this argument with people, they will say it's okay and normal for single person to be fornicating, but they will condemning a person who is fornicating with a married person. You know of a person in our town having an affair with a married person. He or she (one of them) is not married. I ask them, "why are you condemning them, you think fornicating is okay. ? If that person isn't married, they can't be committing adultery". It blows my mind, I've heard it on the radio too, argued with my promiscuous sister, take 2 people, or 100 people, they are all single, it is about the sin the individual commits, read Corinthians chapter 6, your body is not your own, it is to be a temple of the holy spirit, this is not about societal norms , which are always changing and are different in different places. How on earth can you say pre-marital sex is okay, but a single person sleeping with a married person is committing adultery. It is literally impossible. A person who is not married, can not commit adultery. Who cares what Americans or Canadians or British think, read your freaking bible, and start with Corinthians chapter 6 if you have no clue about sexual sin.

It truly does show how sneaky satan & his demons are. Think about it, most people believe they are being understanding & loving by giving homosexuality the same rights as heterosexuals through marriage. In reality, we are feeding into the hands of satan & his generals. Scary stuff. That's why it's so important to have a relationship with JESUS & to live according to scripture.

Fr. Ripperger is right in that what we pray for is what we get. The secular world "prayed" (ie. lobbied/protested/revolted) for "free love" in the 1960s, and continue to push their various agendas (abortion, gay rights, transgenderism, etc.). Nobody wants to talk about the elephant in the room when we witness our society on this constant downward spiral. It's pretty obvious what's behind it all, but the secular world continues to trod forward w/ proverbial stones covering their eyes.

All of these arch demons purportedly originated from the ranks of the seraphim and cherubim, and possibly the thrones, the top tier of the three tiers of angels.

This might be the wrong community to share this with but i'm cuban and in my faith I have seen countless "possessions". We call it "pasar un muerto" Which means to pass a spirit. There is actually a "job" in many faiths where there are individuals dedicated to working with and passing spirits, they're called espiritistas or spiritist. There are positive encounters where spirits that have accompanied you since birth will pass though a priest sometimes informing you of important information for your life. Or it can be a ancestor, which happened to me once with my great grandmother that had passed. During a spiritual investigation that my family was attending, my great grandmother possessed the priest and conversed with each of us, expressing her worries with the way she was seeing us live our lives. This happened many years ago when I was an athiest, that even lead me down a spiritual road. I still do not consider myself a religious person but a spiritual one. At the end of the day it does not matter the identity created around the being or creator you belive in rather than the faith itself that matters. Intention is one of the most important aspects of faith. If you do not pray with intent, then why pray at all. If you do not intent to belive, why question.

I just had like 3 nightmares last night. One was a demon in my 2 year olds room. Leaving 3 scratches on his back. (There are none)
But my son woke up at 3am and hasn't been back to sleep. I woke up said an our father, had my husband go bless the room.

I saw this movie over the weekend. It's a pretty good "exorcism" film. It's no William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist by any means... But better than most. I wasn't all that thrilled with Russell Crowe's portrayal of Fr Gabrielle Amorth... 1. He doesn't look ANYTHING like Fr Amorth lol 2. His demeanor and personality doesn't really track with that of Fr Amorth . But, in spite of all this it's a good enough movie that I'll probably see it again at home when it's released to streaming.

People are going to really wish they had repented when Jesus comes back.
I'm not catholic but I don't believe you need to be to feel things are not right. Like there is def a power pushing all these things way above whats humanly possible
