Resurrected to write this comment ^_^
Games can be weird like that. I used to think that Death Stranding would be boring, then I bought it anyway because of wanting to experience something completely new in the AAA space and I was completely immersed into its world, characters and gameplay loop. The Pathless is probably like that; you’re either immersed into it right away or you’re not and never will be.
