- So because of Choy Yeb Kang, Kamil Pearl, grey757777 and many many of you requesting for the Honda Accord Facelift Review, and due to the fact that there are no media test drive units yet available, I decided to head to one of the dealers with a test drive unit (fresh off the oven, super fresh) to drive the new Honda Accord 2.4

Some other difference from pre fl accord is the radio control unit, newer ones have all built in onto the touchscreen...
Bobby, Yes, the player is Android based. The New Civic FC also Android based. You can select the "about the device" in the HU then you would be able to see the Android version.
It's weird seeing one in person, especially this latest iteration of the current one. Everyone in the Philippines buys either a camry, or even a 6. I saw one and man i forgot how big it looked, like physically bigger than a camry. And for some reason, the front tires are THICK! It sat in traffic beside a montero and the accord's front tires are thicker than the montero's :)) It's the only thing it'd look at other than the 6 in this class if ever i was in it right now.
watchin this in 2021, your side mirror cam concept came true with the new e tron audi hahaha
so they have improved the brakes. the 2009 honda accord model have problem with their brakes..good job

Just randomly watching your video and i am mindblown with your crazy idea of remove side mirror so that drivers will remember to signal. So...Lexus some sort of doing it now! They replaced side mirror with camera!

Hi bobby, may i know what the function of accessories mode?
Sometimes when i turn off engine it become accessories mode, then the radio wont off but engine alredy off. And door cant lock also, really appreciate if you can solve my problem

I like your suggestion regarding honda lane watch ,, it should be on both side mirrors,
perhaps can order side mirror from countries where steering wheel on left side e.g UAE.
but cant be installed perfectly like the original one 😬😬
on both sides of the A-pillar and then remove the side mirrors ... so that everyone is forced to signal their indicators first before any silly action.

hy bobby..i really like ur videos..i have a question...i might look like fool but where is the parking brake/hand brake??usually there will be in the center consule right...hope u answer my question...i'm really planning to buy this 2.4 accord car..
+Sugune swaran hi! Thanks for your compliments. The parking brake in the accord is foot operated. Like a third pedal on the very left. And it's well positioned without obstructing your left leg in anyway.

dont think its a stupid thought bobby, that's brilliant idea for some malaysian driver that did not know how to give a signal..but just one more thing to think if there any electrical issue..the camera did not function..but the idea is good

Bobby thanks this is by far my favorite look for the accord. we own a 2004 and 2010 and indeed the steering is numb on the 2010 model. btw Bobby im not a fan of the 2018 accord and I may end up getting the 2017 model. What are your thoughts of the 10th generation accord? it kinda looks like an Audi A7/ RR Wraith.

Honda Accord lol it looks classier and more elegant than a Camry. I am not sure if this still will hold true for the 2018 model as they really flopped bad in the design department But REST assured the 2017 facelift model is the sexiest executive sedan out there in this price range

Bobby, which is better drive, this Accord or the new Passat ?
+Kelvin Lim the Passat definitely feels more powerful and handles better at high speeds. But at slower speeds, the Accord feels more comfortable and an outright larger car by far in terms of interior room.

@faiz489 i mostly will drive on highways as sarawak hv no tolls,surely those lanewatch may come in handy..thanks for the tips,will search for pre fc accord to see whether its intuitive like this version of accord..if all else fails i would just get the 2016 perdana and put my jabatan emblem on that batch haha

accord is 5 gears or 6 gears? cant seems to get that info from the site, may be on their download brochure.
just wonder with new tech on gear box nowaday, is 5 gears still has the negativity on things like power, fuel efficiency, timing gear change comparing to a 6 gears ... well yes, still need to consider how the manufacture time their gear box.
Only 225 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm for the 2.4L Accord. How is the pickup like? Would a 1.8L Passat B8 with 250 Nm of turbo power for roughly the same price be a better buy?
+MyCentral Myc power alone, no doubt the Accord is no match for TSI engines. In terms of the better buy, you have to go RM197k for the 2.0 TSI to get all the creature features. As for the Accord, it's based 2.0 gets full spec except LED lights and lane watch. Accord is a marginally larger car as well.

Here's my unpopular opinion. I like the rims from the 2.0 Accord rather than in this 2.4.
+Muhammad Syaqil Hamdan both are decent ... nicest rim design so far IMO are those from M Sport 5 series and the glorious GLA 45AMG rims

start looking back at accord coz today my colleagues A6 hydraulic pump costs her 50k. i hope camry and accord go for luxury entry in 2018. the german trio is more or less depends on luck.
