I think he almost doubled his subs from this time last year. If he pulls his words through (one video per week) no telling how many subs or doubles he will do come this time next year - should be a fun ride 🚙✨
Another amazing video. These videos are not only amazing for fellow Lotus fans like me, but also an inspiration for UA-camrs. I really appreciate the work that goes into these videos. Just brilliant work, thank you 👍👍👍
I have nothing but respect for anyone willing to take on the mammoth task of restoring a car but the stop motion recording is next level. Thanks for taking the time and sharing.
This is the best "one man show" on any platform EVER! I cant even fathom the work that goes into this! The work on the car is enough to make me faint but to package it with the stop motion and smother in the gravy that is that fantastic Irish accent I am hooked! I couldn't give two spits about RR but watched that playlist twice. George is a TRUE Renaissance man.
My total lack of patience, and ability for that matter, would prevent a process like this ever becoming pure art... as well as a cool car restoration. So much admiration!
Great trip down memory lane George. Forgot that there's more plywood in that Esprit than in my shed. Though, in fairness, I upgraded my shed with carbon fiber. :)
I got the notification, I immediately smashed "thumbs up" while thinking one more time: this gentleman deserves Millions of subscribers and viewers: pure artwork! So, let's go folks and get him to at least 100k for now...the BEST is yet to come! Cheers from Montreal, Canada
Glad you didn't mind it, it was a real eye opener for me in terms of my own progression. I'll bring the rest of the strip next week and get us up to present day asap. It's way more work than I expected but it should give me a chance to get ahead by a week or two.
I was lucky enough to see a black and gold jps Esprit parked at my local petrol station about a week ago. Its dimensions were sublime. Very nice I thought. Great to see your channel getting the attention it so rightly deserves.
Wonderful channel that deserves to grow and grow. No clickbait nonsense, no fluff, but at the same time, lighthearted and superb production. A real person doing real projects, showing us the challenges and rewards of hanging in there. Terrific.
Holy shit George episodes are stitching together already. Hard working man with a camera to make the best car repair content ever seen on youtube. You were right to strip it down fully. Cant wait to see more.
When younger I despised blue interiors, to the point that i swapped a full interior on a 90 integra to black. Now my 89 944 has a marine blue and champagne interior. Keep the videos coming.
i realize that so much time and effort goes into these videos..but..just want you to know your video notifications make my day...peace and health mate...
@6.39 mark is why you take old cars apart to make sure those issues are taking care of before it goes up in flames.... as usual a masterpiece George ..
Great Video as always I could watch this morning noon and night especially as you are working on one of my all time favourite cars and era. That bare wiring!! 😳😱 Your esprit will be amazing when completed but I'm looking forward to the restoration journey 😁
Great videos George. Remember your keeping are spirits up. The people who have to brave all weather to work on our vehicles on drive ways, paths and dark damp smelly garages. Cheers mate, keep it going. 😀👍
Thought The Covid mighta gotcha. Glad you're alive and well. Meanwhile, my daughter is >8months old and STILL likes watching your car magic and listening to you talk about it. If anything, she's even more fascinated watching your car pull itself to pieces. I'm pretty stoked to hear about the once a week uploads. That Lotus has fallen into good company.
Still here, cant stop until this one is a runner. I wondered about saying sh1t in the first minute of this one, usually keep it family. Hopefully it doesn't rub off on Cur M Jr ;) Thanks man
Very Excited that you are going to be trying to release more Videos! Love that you want to learn by trying... the fear of the lack of perfection stops many of us including myself at times, Your channels makes me want to build and I need more of that with my projects that I feel a bit in over my head on.
Thanks for the motivation Goerge I fall behind on my garage time myself ..... hope your keeping well looking like no Greece this year as well this year...
Also, thanks for replying to comments. That shows that you really care about those that support you and your channel. I don't see that much elsewhere on YT. Keep up the good work!
Looking forward to seeing more. Motivation and remembering why I am working toward something is always a big thing for me, as I can see through your videos it is for you. Right now during the pandemic more than ever. Your camera work and your storytelling are captivating and I click every time you put out a video! Keep it up!
Was worried the recap wouldn't be appreciated, but already I can see it's reaching viewers who hadn't seen what's gone before. Second installment coming in a week :) Thanks Benjamin
Lovely car! Great cinematography as usual! Recognizing the door handles and wiper/blinker stalk of my -74 Morris Marina, combining that with the general state of this cars wiring harness, I think you have yourself a heck of a job to finalize the electrics here. No negative waves, at all! Just wishing you good luck.... Lots of it! So excited to see the Esprite being worked on again...!
Said it before, I'll say it again. Easily the MOST UNDERRATED car restoration channel on UA-cam. Keep up the exceptional work!!!
I think he almost doubled his subs from this time last year. If he pulls his words through (one video per week) no telling how many subs or doubles he will do come this time next year - should be a fun ride 🚙✨
Agree 100%
The only one Im a patreon of. 😀
The 'dislikes' can only be due to poor aim 😂 I have no doubt, in time, this channel will go supernova 😎

Legend man, thank you :)
Whatever awards are available for cinematography of this type, they are totally inadequate.
😂🍻 When you're filling my trophy with m&m's just remember I don't want any blue ones.
Agreed. Beautiful videography
Pure AMAZINGNES!!!
You know stop motion is so good when you forget that’s what your watching from time to time.
Nice!
Soup, not only are you a craftsman, you are an artist that elevates the craft.
Great reminder. Delighted to hear we are to see more of your work. Thanks.
Thanks, and yeah have to step it back up and see what I can do :)
I have nothing but respect for anyone willing to take on the mammoth task of restoring a car but the stop motion recording is next level. Thanks for taking the time and sharing.
Never get too much Esprit. Thanks
You know this is the big one!
@@soupclassicmotoring That's what she said!
I love the way you do these videos . Those frayed wires were just the reason why it needed stripping bare .
Yep, think they're window lift wires to the switches, used by the resident mouse as tooth floss.
I let out an audible "oof" when I saw those wires.

BRAVO Yorgo!. u r a professional, perfectionist and a very talented person!. Proud of U!..
A good start to Saturday morning, thanks mate
Any time!
Sunday morning here down under - a mug of Yorkshire Proper Strong and George's magic to watch. How good is that!!!
Beautiful once again.
Absolutely astounding work. From the restoration work, to the video production, editing, and everything in between. Bravo!
The patience to film car restoration in this way, is bloody epic. Superb work.
Thanks 👍 It'll be worth it in the end
Just brilliant cinematography. Why this channel doesn’t have a million viewers is beyond me.
Great to see you back...... really missed your videos, you are both the best at what you do and are a project motivator extraordinaire.... 👍
My total lack of patience, and ability for that matter, would prevent a process like this ever becoming pure art... as well as a cool car restoration. So much admiration!
I need a 2 hour compilation of this kind of things for a better procrastination. Thank you for such wonderful content.
lol, in time man, in time ;)
@@soupclassicmotoring No worries, I have watched your Range Rover restoration like 10 times now, it`s still good.
What a wonderful weekend! God bless!
Deadly! Thanks
Great trip down memory lane George. Forgot that there's more plywood in that Esprit than in my shed. Though, in fairness, I upgraded my shed with carbon fiber. :)
baha! They say it has amazing lateral compression, who knows. I'm not about to reinvent that wheel anyway. There's fibreglass behind it ;)
@@soupclassicmotoring Don't be afraid to try carbon fiber, it is not that hard.
The best 12 minutes of the day.Keep it up👍
Can't say it enough I just love this guys camera animation work could watch this stuff all day :-)

George, I can't decide whether I'm more impressed by your cinematography skills or your attitude in general. Just excellent all around. Keep it up.

Beautiful work! Amazing, keep it up, and keep the films coming!
Restoration alone is tough, filming it? Even tougher. But filming your project in stop motion and edit it? This is next level. Salute.
Damn it, what a huge work with this lotus, with a great desire I look forward to further development of the repair!
What an unbelievably great video.
