The fang 4 is a great release. I think it has been discontinued because I wanted to buy a second one for backup, and couldn’t find one anywhere online. . I believe Truball made it
Do you hunt in desoto or little more north of that? Been trying to find some good spots but seems like to many people go through desoto (the places I’ve been able to go that is)
I’ve hunted desoto a good bit but it is very hard to hunt. Not much diversity in the terrain and it gets an insane amount of pressure. I usually just drive up to the delta and hunt around there
It’s just like any other stand you put up. When you look for a tree you are also looking for a good back drop and something that will break up your silhouette between you and your shooting lane. Also I like the ability to be able to hide behind my tree if it comes down to it

Yeah it’s a truball, I looked for one the other day and also couldn’t find it. I think after this one I am going to try out the UV thumb release

I have never saddle hunted before but wouldn’t a deer see you easily and you would have to be completely still since there is nothing covering you
