Happy new year (a month and a half late but shhhh) Here's some of the goals I have for 2024 in terms of vet med, personal and social goals! What are your 2024 goals??
Hey! I am a vet student in the 4th year in Europe (which I guess is similar to the 3rd year in Canada). I would be very interested in one page case summaries of some treatments in a future video! Love your videos!
Happy to see you're still creating content after graduation! I just started my first year of vet school so my biggest goal is to pass this first semester! I also set a goal on Goodreads to read 15 books this year (I normally do 20 but I don't expect to have as much free time this year for obvious reasons), and if you're looking for any book recs lmk!
Thanks for sticking around while I figure out life as a new grad 🫶🏼 Best of luck in first year! Would love some recommendations to add to my reading list!!
If you haven't already read The House in the Cerulean Sea it is super wholesome and about to come out with a sequel! Otherwise, my favorites over the past few years have been The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, The Midnight Library, and Lessons in Chemistry. And if you like YA/mysteries the Truly Devious series is amazing!@@yourvetamanda
Thank you so much for watching!!! Glad you can relate to the struggle of being a new grad 🫶🏼 definitely makes me feel less alone in the process as well!!
i am currently in undergrad and would love the digital content for the Vet school application and just overall information to help me and others to prepare.
Hi Amanda, excellent video. I am international vet graduate, preparing for NAVLE. I also watched your video on vetcetera. I have one question i.e is there percentile marking in Navle.Which Navle window most Canadian graduate write for Navle. Is it April or December Navle window?
I Want to do this when i grow up! Any tips on being a bit "Shy" Of blood? I really want to be able to do surgery on pets like you! I don't really have any problems drawing blood! {Atleast im not "shy" When i see people draw blood, Just when it involves surgery} Tips?

I would love to know how to mentally prepare for the NAVLE :) I'm about to take it in about a year and a half and I'm already nervous :)
For sure!!! Try not to stress too much now!!! You’ve got tons of time so enjoy the down time for now ☺️
I'll definitely try my best not to stress out about it :)@@yourvetamanda

it would be awesome if you made a video on how you respond to difficult conversations with clients (ex: deescalating someone who is being abrasive)
So excited to see more of your content in the future!
