when I first saw this game, I knew it would be great for speed running, what with the great movement system and its versatility, so its amazing to see someone use it so quickly and fluidly. Great job man!
Hey bubble, I discovered a trick to swinging (or a better way to swing faster other than diving). You can buy the X+Square skill. (The one where you slam the ground in air). Use it in a tall building. As soon as the webs dissapear, make a swing and you will go very fast, DEFINATELY better than the dive.
Not sure that actually increases your speed that much, plus the time spent going vertical is better spent going horizontal. Also, that skill isn't needed to beat the game - I don't know what the XP management for this run is like, but if it's tight, then he can't afford the ground slam anyway. (can't watch 4 hours of repetition, sorry)
Alphajet 101 the fastest way I’ve found to swing is abusing the busted physics system. You get an initial burst of speed by going down and you also can’t hit the ground while swinging, so what you do is stay just above cars canceling the swing up part constantly getting the initial speed burst and not hitting the ground. It’s ugly but extremely quick

You really do complain at things saying it's the games fault when it really you not getting how some mechanics work or just not fully using the movement systems.
Imagine being a jewerly store owner getting robbed then you see a guy who swinging nearby then he just drop kicks one of the robbers and ends the robbery in about 30 seconds
Hey bubble, just a tip. In the mr negative boss fights you could use the electric webs to stop the “souls” (or like demons or something, not sure what they are) and also use the spider bots. The demon things are one shot so the spider bots are very useful to kill them quick, and they reload very quickly in that fight for some reason
The drones are pretty OP in those fights XD also upgrading the things helps but takes time and crime tokens, so that's a factor to consider but I agree the drones are a good strategy in the Li fights with the swarms of corrupted.
@@uno3542 There are the time(s) he warps you into the weird negative dimension, (I don't remember if there are multiple, I think there are, but I might be thinking of when you get poisoned by Scorpion) there's the car chase, there's the fight with him on the train, and there's the final battle with him.

The transition between cutscene and gameplay is so smooth. Insomniac made, in my opinion, the best game of the PS4 generation

I think he means the fact that before Doc Ock can hit him, he can immediately use the finisher to cancel the boss attack.
