Jenny deserved so much better. Like, to this day, there are no announcements to revive the show, despite the creator expressing a desire to do so. I really hope MLAATR does get it's own revival movie one day. If Arnold, Rocko, and Zim can make a comeback, so can Jenny!
Also, Jenny was really unfairly shafted in Nicktoons, Attack Of The Toybots. Not even playing a big story role. If Nicktoons Unite is revived, given the remake treatment, I hope Jenny gets to team up with the likes of SpongeBob and Lincoln Loud.

If it makes you feel any better, the cancellation of Jimmy Neutron wasn’t Nickelodeon’s fault. I remember back when MLAATR was part of Nickelodeon’s got milk ad sponsorship sweepstakes in a Nick magazine and posters. I too was one of the kids who participated in it and it was cool for Jenny being part of it. During middle school, I had found out that the show was so popular that it was even nominated for several Annie awards and it had won a Daytime Emmy award in 2004. I just wish that Nickelodeon would be smart enough to even realize that.

I agree that the show might have done better on Cartoon Network than on Nick. It was a better fit on CN anyway because it looked and felt more like that kind of show than a Nicktoon. Perhaps that's not surprising given that Rob Renzetti had previously worked on PowerPuff Girls, Samurai Jack and Dexter's Laboratory, and I suspect this may be part of the reason why Nickelodeon gave it the shaft--it just didn't fit their formula of what an animated TV series should be like SpongeBob, Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron or even Rugrats did. I watched some of those shows as a kid too, but because they relied more on grade school humor, I outgrew all of them eventually. MLAATR felt more like a show that appealed to teens and young adults and thus didn't have as much kiddie humor (scatological or otherwise.) That's the main reason why I'm still a fan of the show long after I matured out of the target audience for almost every other Nicktoon.
While we're on the subject I have an unpopular opinion (and a bit of a confession) to give. I don't think most of Nickelodeon's 90s shows were that good. The content wasn't much different from their aughts output (minus MLAATR of course), and in any case I wasn't allowed to watch most of them, so perhaps I'm biased in that regard. Then again, I also wasn't allowed to watch most CN shows back then either, but I still like the animation style and humor of those shows more than any of the non-MLAATR Nicktoons I've seen. Most of my memories watching either channel are from the aughts. And I think part of the reason why MLAATR doesn't have more of a following in its postmortem is because most of the nostalgia for classic Nicktoons is centered on the 90s rather than the aughts when MLAATR was on. I'm perhaps the only 90s kid in America that feels this way, but I also think that Don Bluth made way better animated films than anything Disney has put out in the last 20 years, so there.

When the first promo of MLAATR aired for its premiere, I was legitimately exited as a 4 year old for a show that’s literally about a super hero teenage robot before Danny Phantom. Imagine what could’ve happen if two of those shows had an epic crossover so that way Nickelodeon can still find it relevant to try and beating spongebob in the ratings and how they could still focus more on their profits. Heck there was even a MLAATR theme park ride as they were at least trying to put effort to the show.

The crazy thing is a lot of the same flags popped up when Transformers tried to have its shows aired on Cartoon Network; Robots in Disguise 2015 and TF Animated got shoved into early morning timeslots where few people would see them so CN could air more Teen Titans Go.
Sometimes I wonder why Nick isn't willing to just let someone else buy the rights to reboot the show when they clearly don't give a flip about anything except Spongebob at this point. I can't help but be worried that the fan-made MLaaTR reboot will be C&D'd by Viacom at some point for no other reason than because they can.

Say what you will about Death Battle, but if Jenny were to be included in an episode, she would most likely stomp anyone she went up against, and there is no popularity vote to interfere (even if there was, she would probably win it too). Nickelodeon was never considered the channel only for SpongeBob. I seen alot of Reddits and blogs that they used to air alot of variety on the network. Because they had a person that treated Nick in a health way (Geraldine Laybourne). This person wanted Nick to air shows that no other network aired at the time. Plus, they never want their properties only to be use for toys or reboots.
Even airing non-original international shows that syndication can't save that much. Like Danger Mouse, a show that wasn't made in America, but got popular over time.
Unfortunately, Nickelodeon stopped doing this idea of airing this kind of random content after like 2002 and only continue this for their other brands like Nick Jr., Noggin and Nicktoons Network.
Even though that was the first break of the network's rules from Laybourne, the real breaking point was when Nickelodeon began promoting their animated content. Especially when The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie was being heavily promoted (which was originally supposed to be the series finale, but was debunked due to the show's gigantic popularity during this time). The show would get a fourth season, which led Nick to air SpongeBob, at least, 4 repeats a day. Until 2007, when it became a widespread mess on the network, airing about 6-8 repeats a day, causing alot of Nicktoons to move to Nicktoons Network (which I heard about, the network used to have a decent schedule).
Heck, not only SpongeBob, but Rugrats and Dora too. These two got extremely popular around 1998 and 2003, respectively.
Yeah... They weren't the big problem as what we see... later... but it was starting to be the breaking point for the network.
Sadly, the network hasn't really changed itself since 2007. It's really sad because I noticed by those bumpers and reviews on UA-cam and from other places that Nickelodeon used to be the big orange network that can air anything for everyone. Unfortunately, it ain't the same nowadays.
Look. I still love the Nickelodeon brand. I never want it to become like their sister brand, MTV, when they only rely alot on live action content than their music and animated content. But the network now is just a shell of its former self. If Nickelodeon just kept listening to Laybourne's rules for once, SpongeBob wouldn't become the network's main focus. They can continue to air reruns of the show, but they just really need to give the series a break in favor of other shows. Yes, there's the Loud House, but that show... is just a monster of the Nicktoons in my opinion.
(Yes, this is another comment. But this time it's about Nickelodeon.)

This show along with ChalkZone, Invader Zim, Jimmy Neutron, Danny Phantom, The Mighty B!, El Tigre, Making Fiends, and Harvey Beaks made Nickelodeon didn’t feel the same when they canceled it. So much for my earliest childhood days right before Nickelodeon had already been a shameless dump in the beginning. Had I known or cared that there was something off about Nickelodeon growing up over the years, I mean I loved SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents and couldn’t really get enough of it but however since I was in my late preteen years, I’ve kind of already had enough of SpongeBob and The Fairly OddParents and wondered why SpongeBob still had never ended yet. To be completely honest as much as I always knew that Nickelodeon had something missing during the whole decade, I really missed this show too much, and really wished it would’ve came back for a revival/reboot or a Netflix revival movie like how Hey Arnold, Rocko’s Modern Life and Invader Zim have. But this show was just too poorly treated and underrated. But at the very least, I’m grateful that without this show, there never would’ve been Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Adventure Time, My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic or Gravity Falls (where it also had Bill Cipher) thanks to the amazing creator who is one of the legends. So much for nostalgia and growing up.

Actually, Stephen Hillenburg WAS aware of Nick making SpongeBob spin-offs before his death. Specifically, Tom Kenny and Vincent Waller have said in interviews that Hillenburg was aware Kamp Koral's existance before his death, as it was greenlit months before his death.
And if anyone uses that quote that Hillenburg said in a 2009 interview, read that quote again. When he said "I don't see any spin-offs", he meant it as "I don't see any spin-offs happening right now". He never said "I don't want any spin-offs". Plus, it's worth noting that he wasn't interested in making a theatrical animated movie and a Broadway stage musical based on his series, at first. But not only did he later change his mind and approve of them, but he was involved in 3 theatrical movies based on his series.
And if anyone uses what Paul Tibbitt said in Twitter as an example, Tibbitt left the franchise (and Nickelodeon) during the mid-2010's and now works at DreamWorks Animation. He probably had no idea that Hillenburg changed his mind.
    Thank you.

@@misterniceguy429 I mean what do you expect. SpongeBob is their bread. The live action is reasonable to air in terms of what’s gonna give them the numbers they want. Not to mention with the internet becoming more popular back in the mid 00s and streaming becoming big as of now, it’s hard for any network to take risk at this time which is why they only mostly air SpongeBob and The Loud House. Sometimes Big Nate does air on the main channel along with the Rugrats Reboot(2021).
