I'm so happy! I have an orchid that is 12 years old. I had to do an emergency repot for her last year. She didn't like it and I thought I had killed her. I looked today and she is spiking!

Sometimes the media the orchid comes with is very old media and it makes sense repotting after you see a new growth coming out. New growth equals new roots. Nice video.

Great video on bag babies & mounting! I love your sense of humor & positivity🌻 what is a bifoliate? Are they different in care & growing then non bifoliate?
Thank you so much! Bifoliate have their bloom coming out of 2 leaves rather than one. I’ve been told that they are a little finickier than the others. The roots really hate being disturbed.
You need a tiny hole punch for piercing your tags. I do paper crafting, paper punches come in handy for a lot of things.

Love you Melissa you make me laugh. With your craze for bag babies. I have never bought a cattleya bag baby. I have bought the latouria, Catts take too long to bloom, Dends,Vandas. I do not have patience for the Catts, My experience no luck with Catts .lol
Maybe it depends. IN my HD they are pretty big. SOme bloom as soon as 3/4 months!

The bag babies in my area are 100% better at HD, Lowes never has any that are in good condition.
