Hi! I'm glad to see you back on UA-cam! I love wearing my hair out too. The only protective style that I do are mini twists. I'd spent hours doing them and literally a week later I'll take them out because I just miss my hair. I am also trying to get on a growth journey, but honestly I leave my hair alone when it's out, and I take better care of it. I'm just trying to find some balance somewhere, because it's winter time and natural or not, hair suffers in the winter. Anyways good to see you again! God bless you!

Beautiful hair style. How did you get your hair to stretch
I have the same problem. Low porosity hair gets single strand knots like crazy. What I’ve found the best thing to avoid that is to wear your hair in a stretched style. That keeps the individual hairs from becoming too friendly with one another, lol.
You can use a blow dryer on warn or luke warm and alternate with cool blast, you can band it or African thread it to be stretched, whatever you choose. Check out GreenBeauty’s channel, she has long low porosity kinky and dense hair and wears it stretched to avoid single strand knots. Try it out!

I was having that same issue kept having to trim my hair my end would split often and would be dry but I started prepooing ever time I shampoo my hair and now I'm not having that problem..if u pre poo before shampooing that will take care of that issue because I would pre poo ever blue moon but now I do it every time I shampoo
