Here is a quick flat twist natural protective hairstyle with no extensions. I was feeling super lazy today and it's raining today, so this is a good protective style that is weatherproof and I can wear for a few days. I didn't use any extensions but I used a little bun and here is the video of how you can make the bun for yourself or buy a donut bun.

I’ve been doing my own hair for a couple years now. I would rather do my own hair for free (even if it takes longer) than pay someone else to do it (and lose money and edges in the process).

This is a bit late but I have a quick question; would it still be okay to do this if your donut bun is larger? I ask this mainly because my hair is slightly longer and my donut bun scrunchie is larger. I really love this style and wanted to use it as a go-to protective style, though I'm really hesitant out of possibly breaking my hair off.
