Mercedes 190e w201 alternator removal, belt tensioner 2.0 easy way

Quick video on how to release the aux belt tension and remove alternator on a 190e 2ltr auto petrol with power steering and no aircon. Hope it helps somone out.

Hey sweet vid! I am wondering how tight your tensioner bolt was? Mines pretty tight and don't want to snap the thread off just trying to loosen it 😒

I have a 1990 190e with the same tensioner. When I slack the first bolt you showed and loosen the tension bolt the belt doesn't loosen. Any recommendations if it seems stuck? Good video for my application.

Should loosen after that. Maybe just needs some persuading depending how rusted up things are
