My mum was a cleaner at a sound studio in London when they was filming Love Actually and he came to the studio to finish his voice overs and my mum had the pleasure of meeting Hugh she said he was so down to earth and lovely to chat too. He loved my mum's cups of coffee! 🇬🇧
He is hilarious 😂😂😂. I've been having a marathon of his interviews. My gosh Hugh is funny. He has no problem making fun of himself. The media just can't win with him. He turns all those ugly tabloids into comedy and I love it💅😂😂
The camera just loves Hugh. I don't think he demands an audience but he can easily get one. he seems so laid back, casual, easy going, and an abrupt sense of humor.
Why don’t you think he demands an audience, he is funny, endearing in an awkward way, good story teller, posh, and genuinely himself doesn’t care what anyone thinks, and attractive
He's an excellent interview guest. I met him once at a function I was performing at. There were a few other celebrities there, but he was the only one who took pictures. He was really friendly and chatty and charming and kind.
I've always loved Hugh ... he is lovely in real life too ... no airs & graces, very down to earth & most importantly fun 😊 Love a malibu ... Great interview ... ❤
I met him years ago in Spain on the highway from La Junquera towards France. We were both at a bar on the highway. I went in and he went out. At first I thought he was very handsome but I didn't recognize him. He looked at me and smiled at me. Then I realized it was Hugh Grant. I saw him again while he was filling up with petrol and then splashing away driving a blue Ferrari.
Hugh has enjoyed much meatier roles since this. He truly is quite under-rated. He's like a fine wine. Do yourselves a favour folks, and watch The Gentlemen (2019).
he is so good in interviews-such a wry humor! he should have his own talk show or something...seriously enjoy him in interviews-even more than in film. he is a better script writer than most!
I enjoyed that film. A bit different but believable as I recall. Hugh is so naturally dry witted and funny. But I wish Alan would stop talking over him when he was about to answer a good question.
My sister was married to Alan Carr's Uncle David Carter, although divorced years ago. I used to hang out with Alan's mum whenever I visited my sister. And, Alan attended Middlesex University, which is where I worked for 11 years - well before my time! 6 degrees of separation, eh?
Very compelling gent. Quintessential toff brit but one you would love to be best mates with, life would not be dull and he’d usually get the bill. Legend.
I love his puppy dog eyes really good actor he's I love him in love stories and comedy but I hear he's grumpy nowadays that's okay I'm getting old and grumpy too😊🎉🎉
I remember when I saw that film advertised/reviews for it, It is the same story as: Music + Lyrics but instead of an ex popstar but an ex screenwriter lol
Lol I was mentioning something similar to this at a local bar in brooklyn I wonder if we related about the effect of filmmaking on personal dating before and had a dance of the same thought
I pegged Hugh as a beer man but NO he is a kindred spirit Malibu and pineapple he has great taste! Malibu was huge in Australia in late 80s to early 90s! Everybody drank it!!
I understand that he was crictical of Julia Roberts' mouth that was extremely large. I dont' thing Julia found that funny from Hugh - so they haven't spoken since Notting Hill Filim which they did together.
His comment was just standard dry British humour. Depreciating humour of both self and others is the hallmark of British banter. It wasn’t meant as an insult. Neither was his comment about sending an echo when he kissed Julia Roberts.
Yikes. The host is supremely irritating and distracting. I’m not a fan of affectation and insincerity. I want to say, “Stop trying to be an adorable creep, and just speak in your authentic voice.”

Lucky lady your mum!!!!
Nice to know.

Whenever he was invited to Italy for an interview, he came across as very snobbish. Probably a language thing.
He’s got soooo much charisma!
Hugh Grant is irresistible ...one of a kind ❤
He is hilarious 😂😂😂.

I think he's honest with himself, that is why people gravitate towards him

Likable, handsome and I could listen to him all day.
and then there is Hugh Grant
A friend of mine is a taxi driver and he said that Hugh was lovely and very personable :)
My friend is streetwalker and said the same!

I love Hugh… he is a very intelligent guy but so simple and down to earth… really love him.
Props to the host for that legendary pour. That drink was a 1:1 ratio of rum to pineapple.
He looked scared when he saw it being poured.
I have always loved this man who can accept any role ...
Hugh is always fantastic at interviews.
Absolutely. All time favorite on Inside the Actor's Studio. Sounds strange to say but it's true.
Hugh never gets old. He should be unbearably cute. But he wins me over every time.
Hugh has enjoyed much meatier roles since this. He truly is quite under-rated. He's like a fine wine.

Best one of his films by far. He plays that guy amazingly
My husband's all time favourite film.
Hugh is so good natured here. As if I need another reason to be a fan. :)
well put "here" in the end of ur sentence .
I found this interview extremely hilarious. Thank you very much.
What a naturally lovely ❤️ conversation.
That was so satisfying and witty! can't remember when was the last time I laughed out loud that much! :)

Marisa Tomei gave this movie sparkle ✨
The My Cousin Vinnie Oscar winner would make anything sparkle 👍
Anyone else fancy a Malibu and pineapple now too? Not had one in years 😋
Alan Carr is a great host and interviewer, deserves a show and great guests. Well done.
I enjoyed that film. A bit different but believable as I recall.
Hugh is so naturally dry witted and funny. But I wish Alan would stop talking over him when he was about to answer a good question.
2014? Almost 10 years and I still fancy Hugh 😅

I love Hugh ❤
Same❤❤❤
Hughes a legend
The film they are talking about came out in 2014.
First time I've ever seen or heard of Alan Carr. He seems like a combination of Charles Nelson Reilly and Jiminy Glick. Funny guy.
I loved him in The Undoing! well worth a watch if you haven't seen it yet
That was a good miniseries!
I watch "About a boy" once a year, sometimes more.
Me too
The book is wonderful too.
He is adorable.....
LoL😂 I laughed so hard 🤣🤣🤣
I love Hugh Grant
I really like Hugh Grant, he seems a lot of fun to be around and really nice.
the end is really the best part.....Alan reminding Hugh that his mooooooviii is released today, actually √
He is hilarious. Omg .. 😹😹😹
I think it’s funny how little tolerance he has for red carpet interviews! He does not tolerate fools gladly!
My favorite performance was The Undoing…..he was brilliant!
He really was
also in The Gentlemen 👏
Fantastic and so sinister!

I find chatty man so very funny, found it just in my algorithm I nearly wet myself with laughter 😂😂😂😂
Are you American? If so, you may enjoy Alan Carr’s podcast, Life’s a Beach.
If only Prince Charles spoke like Alan Carr.
Love Hugh Grant and he got through this cringy Alan Carr interview with flying colours.
The rewrite is his
very best film of all time.
Malibu and pineapple ok need to give it a try.
So love ol Hugh 😍

"I have my dignity to think of" when doing a biopic of Alan Carr? I don't know why he's so mean sometimes.
And the retort: Carr immediately with the explanation “a lot of full frontal nudity”. Completely turned the tables in an instant.

Hughes got ahead in Hollywood when he had a fantasy gf back at home. He even paid for it which was crazy also yet no emotional affair tho?
