So far there are only three being upgraded to this type (Ardrossan and the two in Dingwall) and I don't know if there are any others planned, but it seems that that alarms will stay on for this type of crossing.
No it’s not broken, it’s because it’s an AFBCL (automatic full barrier crossing locally monitored) so it’s an automatic level crossing with full barriers. (Basically an AHB and an MCB combined)
Great video Glen. Nice to see Dingwall middle upgraded to a AFBCL same as Dingwall no.1
That is very good dingwall middle level crossing and the e2s alarms keeping going after barriers gone down
Great video
Great video! We've been using automatically controlled quad-gate/full barrier crossings here in the US for years, lol.
in the uk we have but not rellay in the hghlands of scotland lol
Nice Video Glen
It looks really good
Nice one 😀👍
Nice one! I think the only shame about this crossing upgrade, is the fact that it has E2S, rather than Yodalarms.
Fantastic video there glen especially seeing the class 158 on the scotrail Service And where is it bound for
Rachel Harper oh so it’s Kyle localsh first one it’s going to then it’s off to Inverness for the run back Rachel
@@thebrummierailenthusiasts5329 Yeah it is. Sorry it's me but different account all together.
Nice video, also please film the other 3 crossings in Fort William you havent filmed yet
It's up to him if he wants to video them Mike.
I would call it an AFBCL-OD.
Looks fantastic, but you seriously should’ve done the other side lmao
I guess all the level crossings that are being upgraded to full barriers will have the alarms staying on until the lights go out

Since it’s an automatic crossing, the alarm is still going on
