The fact his mom kept his clothes and drawings all those years 🥺 During her last visit with Freddie he told her not to visit again. He went into a coma that weekend and passed away the following week. He wanted to protect his mama from watching him die.

India and its parsi community from gujarat and Mumbai are so proud of Freddie. I wished he lived longer. He would have surely returned to see his childhood friends and school that's changed over time. Memories that lied in his past and refreshed them. Proud of Freddie.

@@kikit7262 he was an Indian. How can he be racist to his own people. The people with whom he lived and started his musical career and learnt piano from. How can he be ashamed of the place that made him what he is today, how can he be racist to the country in which he lived for more than 9 years. In his childhood he spent more time in India rather than his family. India is like Freddie's mother country.

Freddie never ever acknowledged his indian connection. Never ever talked about his time in india nor did he ever come back to india. If anything, he considered himself a Persian but never an Indian. Stop imposing yourselves upon him, he didn't want it.

Leo Durkin, I was 8 years old, when Freddie Mercury died. I will be listening to Freddie Mercury, and Queen on UA-cam. Freddie Mercury certainly made his mark on the British music charts, his music will live on, forever, not just 100s of years, and in my humble opinion, Freddie Mercury was a legend.

I just wish he was alive...He is the greatest vocalist ever in the music world PERIOD, all his singing style is blend of Indian Raga's mixed with western rock tunes .He is from where I am. Although he was born in Zanzibar but his original village is Bulsar(his real name is Farrokh Bulsara) or Valsad-Gujarati from Gujarat state in India. I still talk to his cousins in India. Not many people know that his is Indian. lots of Indian people were disappointed by him because was he walked away from his original roots and never mentioned about hos originality as an Indian or he kept away his parents from mentioning that.. that was very sad. In 1964 when he arrived in England there was so much racism in England and he always thought that if people come to know his originality they would never accept a Brown man as rock artist and then later after he became Legend he kind of forgot his roots purposely may be he must have thought that now I am too big for the third country. You know his parents spoke Gujarati and he also spoke Gujarati at home, if you listen to his interviews you can see, hear and feel that he had an accent. In any case I love and respect his talent. He was so genius and self made man. His parents put him in Indian at very small age in boarding school where he learnt all his singing and Piano playing. But he was a very lonely man. We love you Farrokh and will miss you forever.

@@dontsubscribetome3262 but the facts is that your ancestors lived in Sweden for 1000 years and Freddie's ancestors lived in India for 1000 years..... Yes they have persian lineage but you yourself do not think that they inherited a few things from India in a time period of 1000 years..... For example their surname and why would they put the surname after an Indian city if they are persian .... And their mother tongue was Gujarati-hindi spoken by most parsis here....even their clothing has mixed with indian styles.... And for a boy living in India in his teenage for 10 years where his parents were born and where he lived with his aunt and cousins ...... How you can deny he is not Indian .....

Roger cooke said Freddie was recognized as Persian. What did he knew about parsis and their contributions to Indian society and how much blood they shed for giving India independence. He was never a Persian. He just used his ancestry to hide his indian descent and heritage. He was truly Indian.

He wore makeup. Moreover Indians have varied looks. Sadly as said, he didn't want to be known as an Indian. He wanted to be identified as a Persian. Racism was really high in those days. His family clearly has Indian roots. His surname "Bulsara" derives from "Valsad", a city in West of India
