Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness is a fantasy real-time strategy computer game developed by Blizzard Entertainment and released for DOS in 1995 and Mac OS in 1996 by Blizzard's parent, Davidson & Associates. It was remastered in November 2024.

In the score screen after every mission it says "shadowmon clan". Sound like a new troll tribe.
I didnt even notice, they sure have a lot of typos and stuff :D

They were too lazy to add rally points and anything else. They still had to replace "Grom" with "Grommash" xD
their priorities are just different to ours xD
I would have loved to see balance changes to Warcraft 2
What if they fixed bloodlust/heal balance, maybe toned down invis blizzard to compensate, and made archers/trolls better?
Yea same, some balance changes would have been great. Archer/trolls are easily fixed by improving the AI of them. I played a custom campaign where they start shooting again straight away after losing their first target, instead of needing 3seconds before shooting again. It already makes them a lot better imo. Not sure how to fix the bloodlust/heal issue without making heal too strong by accident :D but I am sure there is a way. They were slacking with this remaster for sure. But atleast the HD graphics look nice (I think)

Oh I didn't know warcraft came out on old consoles! But since you need an Internet connect to download the remastered version I think you can only play it on PC.

any way to make w1 and w2 harder?
w1 and w2 both have the original campaigns reworked with increased difficulty. They are pretty insane, probably not beatable by most people. And there are quiet a few custom campaigns that also have high difficulty. You could check Bruhcraft or Redmist on my channel, they are way harder than the standard campaigns :)

@@nicolbolas999 I only know the insane campaign for warcraft 1 but I don't know if it works with remastered (probably not since it runs on dosbox) but I also have no download link 😅

that's what we got custom campaigns for :D
play Danny's DAIFE mod it works for remastered. that makes the single player much better and challenging
@@malt3aserz I plan that too. Ss There something similar for warcraft 1? or some self-challenge? one unit, 8 pesants max etc.... I wanna replay war1 but its too easy
All they changed is the "value" for max unit selection from 9 to 12 and used AI to get slightly better details... No unit queue, no waypoints, not even a f*ckin shift+click for commands... Screw u Blizzard, this game deserved so much more!!! 🤕🥲
We gonna get a custom campaign soon where we get all that. Blizzard might be sleeping but the modders are not :)
