- I thought I was out, but the the new patch pulls me back in.
Because things have not been going terrible enough in this cursed temple of mine, the new patch adds even more difficulties and new challenges to both the Jaguar Temple as well as the Serpent Catacombs! Curse Of The Dead Gods truly does not want me to reach piece of mind!
Curse Of The Dead Gods is a Roguelike game created by Passtech Games. This game is hard and will end you repeadedly thanks to strong enemies and tricky curses of the dead gods draining you slowly, but steadily.

Before playing this game, watching you play made me think it was a easy game, so after beating Hades easily I thought I'd try it. I couldn't be more wrong, this game is brutal. One of the hardest I played. Your a legend.
Yeah, COTDG is really a stress test!
Agreed! After 100%ing all achievements in Hades, COTDG is pretty damn hardcore and requires twitch reflexes and proper building that I still need to develop. Having fun watching your videos, DDG!

Practise makes perfect! But maybe you want to wait until the upcoming updates, they add some new stuff, apparently.
Flawless after 3 runs??? I have like 70 hours in this game and have never gotten flawless. Then again this particular build is really op. He's 2 shooting elites lmfao

it is time for Curse of the Dead Gods to take place, although, what kind of Dead Gods are these?
they appear to be Mayan deities, since the temple looks like a Mayan temple, but they also might be Egyptian, since it looks like our unnamed cursed explorer is exploring a Pharaoh's tomb
We are not quite done with Hades, there is still a bit more to come! I do not know if any game will truly replace Hades, but I do not think that COTDG will be that game. That being said, I hope we will find that game soon!
@@firxanza5172 There's going to be multiple temples released. So far we have Serpent for Aztec and this one is Jaguar for Mayan. There's still 2 more to be released.

How do you keep your greed meter from going down??
its one of those starting items. the blessings. one of them grants that your greed counter does not reset in between fights. its one of the strongest blessings in the game.
Question:
If you have the heal on gold offering and the gold on over healing. Will it just refund gold when you gold offer at full health?

Is this a mod run? Your greed kill timer only seems to decrease in combat but that isn't normal.
There is a blessing that has that effect. One of the best in the game.

This game is usually more compared to Dark Souls. It is a hard game for people who like hard games that got nothing but hardness going on for them!
I just started playing and didn't know shields are so good! Also, I saw how you position yourself in line with an enemy behind the one in front of you so that you get them both or least maintain pace of combat/control enemy position.
Be careful when you try to do this in the current version of the game, shields have been nerfed since then!

The game looks great, but the hero looks pants. The Hero just looks like some random homeless dude.

This game will be great in nintendo switch or any console control.
I have spend (wasted!!!!) way too many hours playing this game on keyboard before giving Controller a try.
I did give it a quick try the other day because of a discussion on the discord. The only real difference I see is that using different weapons is a bit simpler.

@@romegrowl6423 Some with Keyboard, some with Controller. I try to play more games with a controller these days, but I could not imagine playing COTDG with one these days.
I would love to see some special physical version for this game from Special Reserve Games.
@@carcerharlson9767 The game needs to become a bit more popular for that first, I believe. Right now, not a lot of people are aware of it and it is also a game that not everyone enjoys.

so in "Hades" we play as Zagreus, a God who wants to escape from the only home he has ever known
in "Curse of the Dead Gods" we play as an unnamed explorer, who breaks in to an old Mayan temple haunted by dead Mayan Gods that curse those who try to intrude in their final resting place, the explorer does not care about the curse, he lets greed for treasure blind him and ventures deeper in to the temples despite knowing that he will never be able to return, it appears that the deeper he goes, the more cursed he gets, and he used one hand as the container for the curse
We actually do know the name of the guy, I just can't remember it. Something McSomething. I call him Gustaph.
