Hades, the latest game from Supergiant Games is now out of the Early Access! I've had a lot of requests to play it before, but I wanted to wait until it's fully finished. I cleared almost everything in the game and I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything. The only thing that's left is fighting bosses with Extreme Measures condition... but that's something for another video.
Extreme Measures Hades is rough but I must admit being killed by Cerberus was not a bad way to go, I'd much rather die at the hand of a triple good boy that at the hands of Hades
It took me like 50 attempts to reach Hades and I ended the 1st face with 5 health and I felt my soul leave my body as soon as I saw his health go all the way up
I have no idea how, but I beat the Tiny Vermin on my first try after about 10 minutes of furious dash striking. When I saw the boss health bar appear over it’s head I just thought “NO THAT’S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN, WHY IS THAT HAPPENING?”
@@ricsicsalava3717 it's in the temple of Styx, can be found as a final chamber of a tunnel with a skull mark. There are several bosses options, and one of them is tiny vermin. And it's quite tough, sooo good luck :)

I mean he’s tipped 1 gold coin for every dead soul he transports on his barge, which isn’t necessarily everyone who’s ever died since at least some will have been buried without the gold to tip him but that’s still gonna end up a lot no matter how you slice it
@@ultimateqmazing2537 i come here to just watch in awe how this legend completes so many games without getting hit and if we're lucky, we get to see him "put on limiters" and do nohit runs no matter how hard he makes it for himself.
Seeing this dude just stand perfectly behind a pillar while the bone hydra fires a quick volley of projectiles fills me with "Good for you" energy. As you can tell, Bone Hydra is my current stopping point.
There are also multiple versions of Hydra fight, but they are all pretty similar, unlike the furies fights. And on another topic, found the 300% damage special weapon upgrade for the gun (that also deals damage to you) extremely overpowered, except in small rooms just before Hades. Was the first time I managed to kill him, almost felt like cheating. Was dishing 1500 damage crits using Artemis boon like it's nothing.
Gellot knows exactly what he is doing, even on Hell Mode. Most people would freak out at the thought of it. It's almost as if he is predicting the moves using Mangekyo Sharingan, lol.
Did you guys know, bosses are much easier to do a no damage run on over normal enemies. I think it has something to do with the numbers and the fact that they all come at you at once.
When v1.0 was announced, i was waiting for this video Now, i'll be happily waiting for a Extreme Measures no damage run Probably Max Heat will take a while, but if its you, i believe you can make it
Max heat is way too much. Some conditions are already difficult alone - having no mirror skills or ability to heal greatly raises the difficulty. I guess I could try to play slowly and extra safely and try to not get hit at all, but it won't work with Tight Deadline.
Alecto is really the worse of the furies sisters and i've been confirmed by this video that her rage mode especially is very dangerous, we see that he player can't do damage fastly without taking a big risk
RIGHT I was so glad to see the pierced butterfly there at the Hades fight Half the video had me like "why aren't you using- wait, haven't fought alternate furies, right."
If you activate Extreme Measures, Hades will summon Cerberus to attack you. I was kind of hoping we'd see that in this vid, but ah well. EDIT: My apologies for the spoiler.
I just got this game yesterday and I already love it, I think I’m on my like 13 try and I just got to hades once, I didn’t even know he was the last boss I just assumed you’d fight him later again, I lost but still feels good to know I got all the way to him already. I probably just had lucky boons though
Respect for doing it with the sword>Honestly thought you'd do it with spear or bow since they're safer options but of course that'd be too easy for you :)
It's from Extreme Measures, one of the punishments from the pact of punishment, a mechanic to make the game harder for more rewards. Extreme Measures basically upgrades boss fights.
You should, one of the best purchases of my life, I literally haven’t played another game in about a week. But how you want to spend your money is up to you, this is just my personal experience
Charon being a boss was the funniest thing to have happened to me. It also didn't help that his theme was reworked to have more swagger in the bossfight lmao
Listen the euphoria of being Theseus' wack ass is on another plane, but folks may I introduce you to the inexpecable fear when you accidently beat the Temple of Styx and are having a mental breakdown while Hades beats the every living shit out of you.
I was wondering, what's your general rules regarding what upgrades you take when nohitting bosses in a roguelite (or rogue likes)? I remember in your Isaac nohits you only took upgrades for end game bosses but in hades you seem fine with getting any upgrade you can find, were no hits without upgrade too boring to watch?
A bit of a late reply, but I usually only care about taking no damage. Any other rules are optional. I think Hades bosses without upgrades would be either too long and boring to watch or too difficult.

Can you explain what extreme measures is? I'm assuming it's just another difficulty level but who knows maybe not.
It gives main bosses more attacks or changes the battle in some way. Makes it much harder.
I finally beat Hades on EM4 and hoo-boy - never again. Time to start knocking off the other conditions one by one.
Charon's theme is great!
Extreme Measures Hades is rough but I must admit being killed by Cerberus was not a bad way to go, I'd much rather die at the hand of a triple good boy that at the hands of Hades
The pure serotonin that empowered my brain when I got to Hades' second phase for the first time only to be bitchslapped back home was an experience.
That has to be one of the single greatest first time experiences in games ever.
CreationsFlare that bruh moment when i wasted 2 death defiances for a second phase.
What you play it on?
It took me like 50 attempts to reach Hades and I ended the 1st face with 5 health and I felt my soul leave my body as soon as I saw his health go all the way up
My first time fighting him I got him halfway with like 3 health through the whole fight. Literally who needs drugs when you have video games.
I like how the music stops when you steal from Charon lol
“Why are you brandishing your oar in a menacing way?”
I've died to the tiny vermin more times than I have hades, I want to cry
