Big difference, I’m still traumatized by IT pennywise fake vs real (previous episode) where fake is almost same as real, it was hard to spot difference. On this one it is easier.
I have the Laurie Strode fake an I just bought another fake one smh because the fake one I have is so good. I didnt open it but compared to the real one its seems flawless. So I bought from a different company to see how it turns out. Kinda the same problem with the dancing pennywise smh

Neca sells directly on ebay. If you also have a target, gamestop, fye or store of that nature. If your buying online stick to places that are in the US. Figures coming from china are 9/10 fakes.
I buy mine from popkultcha website in Australia.
The extra money I pay I presume is for authentic made in China product not fake made in China product, lol?

I bought the fake one and honestly speaking, I don't really mind it that much.
I freaked because my box doesn't say 40th anniversary, but my figure is much too detailed to be fake, and the apron stitching is the same as the real one, and the mouth is extremely detailed. Almost had a heart attack 😂😂

@@notorioustito8515 yeah but i think the figure was released before the 40th anniversary and they probably rereleased it to market the 40th anniversary. Because all the paint on the face, blood splatter and paint on the chainsaw, stitching on the apron etc. Is correct and exactly like the real one in the video
Even though it’s fake it actually doesn’t look that bad except in the face
My figure seems legit, the only thing that doesn't is the box, which is slightly darker (there's no typo on the back though), and the stitching on the apron looks legit, but it's a different blood style. It's pretty weird, if it's a knockoff I'd say it's a close to perfect one, but the box color just doesn't make sense to me.
Same - my box is like that, but the figure itself looks fine but doesn't have the thing on his arm and the back of the straps are white 🤔

Just bought the fake one for 10 bucks, for what I payed it's worth it.
For that price you can't go wrong and as long as your happy with the figure is all that matters
I do actually prefer the blood splatter on the fake one's apron, it looks much more like it splattered from a source going diagonally across, while the real one just looks like somebody sponge-painted some red on the apron with no intention whatsoever. That is, it looks like MS Paint's "airbrush" brush was clicked on the apron in a way blood wouldn't splatter. Other than that, the real one obviously looks much better.
What is the main difference between the regular Ultimate Leather Face and the 40th anniversary edition? Does anyone know?

The flesh mark above the eyes on mine is left an unpainted black. Bothers me sooo much...

Have you noticed that the biggest give-away sign is on the back of the box. Read the blurb and you will see the spelling mistake. It says about a third of the way down "Venture into rural Texas one hot afternoon and become victims in one of tee most bizarre" (instead of "the most bizarre")

Hi, I got this same Bubba Sawyer figurine for my birthday. I live in Russia, and here its resistance is much greater. It is very sad, because I gave 2 thousand rubles, which is about $ 25, (again, by the standards of Russia, it is expensive) and it turned out that it was a fake.The Russian dude who reviews the figures ordered (and orders on this site and now) the same figure. He also got hooked and bought a fake for a lot of money. He said there were different blood drops on the leather face apron in different photos. And not Only that the figure is fake, but also in the place where the hips touch the legs, the pants are made so disgusting that they constantly slide to the left side. The second head, or rather the mask of the old woman's face does not dress at all. I'm very upset,but thank you for opening my eyes to the truth(((

you can nearly always tell the fake by the way the cardboard is cut/trimmed its always never straight ..they know that most people are in box collectors so the take more care with the box to throw you of because they know you wont be opening it..sucks

Damn, I got a high quality fake. I don't remember where I bought it from but I'm glad I haven't bought any from anyone that isn't either Target or Bigbadtoystore in the pass 4 years. I need to check all my NECA figures that I bought in the beginning of starting my collection since I didn't buy them from any reputable seller. I have almost 40 now.
After further investigation, I think i might just have a re-release since the barcode on the box has a 17 at the end.

I don't know, the differences look within the margin of error you get between any two official figures. You can get bad paint jobs on real ones.
Thanks I was a little on the fence with weather mine was real or not I wasn't going to be too mad if it was a bootleg because it's a good one but the apron is a dead giveaway I got the real one and of course paint and quality will vary a little from figure to figure but the apron on mine is identical to your real one

I always tell people that if you ask they are truthful a lot of the times. Also if you ask for a refund they will give one or a partial refund because they don't want the bad review

Yes that's why I try to put these videos out there so people know an maybe it will stop people from buying the fakez. Theres a lot of people that dont know and just want the figure. But that's the bs we have to deal with I guess
Like with the Freddy Kruger 30th I've just checked out, this one has different release versions. Like with the Freddy, my version doesn't say anything about anniversary on the top or side, and also like the Freddy my box is darker, looks more grey hint, but I still don't believe it's fake because once again like the Freddy, we see that release versions can end up looking more like the fake versions of the real anniversary versions. Confusing. Haven't watched the whole vid but I'm getting mine will match up with the real pretty well.

They vary depending on the figure. The newer ones sell for just as much as the real an in some cases for even more. People think there not making money but there doing the same as neca but dont have to play for licenses an copyrights so for them its straight profit smh

@@charliecray5554 they come from china cause that's who does most of the bootlegging. That's where the neca figures are actually made so what they do is get there hands on the figure an make a mold and create there own. Crazy how many companies do that there.

Hey Brother, I ordered one off of eBay from a Chinese company that's selling mass amounts. Watched your video before I bought it so I knew what to look for. They sent a fake. The word "THE" is misspelled on the back as "TEE". Same as the fake one in your video. Do you know a reputable place that I can order one without fear of it being a fake?
I sell alot of Neca on my site. Also you can purchase instore from walmart, target and fye. Online you can purchase from Bigbadtoystore or entertainment earth.

Most of the ones on Amazon are legit, however it’s best to check with the seller directly and ask if it is genuine. Also, check the reviews and if there are any images of the figure (to see if it is a bootleg or not).
JYW Global Limited are a reliable seller on Amazon, their stock directly comes from Neca as far as I know, also price is a big thing too, 99% of the time Necas sold for around £35-50 are real.

It definitely seems like it. But it seems like they make for every regular popular ones. I haven't seen them make any of the sdcc 2019 con exclusives yet. Seems like it take them awhile to get those going. They jus started making the video game jason sdcc figure bootleg too smh

No most of times it is pretty obvious to know when it is fake. The fake ones often have a darker box

It's really hard to say. The NECA factory is in China. I buy all my NECA from Target, BBTS and the NECA store on Ebay it will take the guess work out. I prefer Target and BBTS than the NECA store, NECA store charges $10.00 for shipping.
In the end when you get yours if it looks good to you and your happy with it, that's what matters.
