I think this gets disabled when you subscribe to real-time data. Other than that I do not know if snapshots get provided automatically unless you explicitly request a snapshot. Do you have any other info about this?

I got few questions about stop limit and trailing order, hope someone could answer for me, will be much appreciated! 1. I placed my first stop limit (not trailing) order recently, the market price was 19.5, and I setted stop price at 19.16, and limit price at 19.14. and the order was trigger right after I confirmed and sold my ETF at my limit price 19.14. and I have checked there was no rapid drop during that time, also ask chatgpt where I did wrong , still counldn't find out. 2. So I would like to explore trailing order then found this video, but still half understand only. Does the trailing stop limit option examples also apply to stocks and ETFs? 3.Supposed the stock price now is 100, and I could set stop price at 80, and limit price at 70? Like once price reach to 80 and will auto generate a limit sell order at 70. But if I would like to place a trailing stop limit order the stop price must set very low, which means limit price also must set very low below the stop price? Or I can just set a stop price and set a offset number ? This part I find it very complicated to understand. Thank you in advance!
Thanks for this. A new tool in the belt. I think this will be useful for crypto plays once the bull market gets rolling. Those can turn fast but can also moonshot and it would suck to miss the profits. This could be a perfect tool for that.
1) bro 26:42 if we r putting adjustable stop order with stop price and trailing stop limit order with trigger price why do we need to then again put limit order? 2) can we just put this Adjustable stop order and wait for it hit its trailing trigger price ? 3) also is there a way to just put trailing limit stop order with trigger price with this ? 4) if i select trailing limit order i dont see option for trigger price and i cant put in advance with the parent order, with adjusting stop order it shows up.
Thanks, Asked the same question on one of your older Videos, trying my luck again - I was trying to configure a Preset in TWS (in %) for "Adjustable Stop" in a Scenario where I bought the stock @100 (With 20% stop loss) and in case it hits 4% profit and it triggers a Trailing limit for Sell with a Trailing amount 5%. Some how I am getting the error of "Invalid Trigger Price" in case of Parent order option in the Adjusted trigger price. The error goes away in case of "last price" option but I don't know what to fill in Adjusted stop price / limit field. I have tried this in both Pre market and normal market. Can you please help on what all need to go in the Primary order and Attached stop order (in terms of %)
WTF is wrong with IBKR? I have no problem setting stops inside of Schwab or TD, but at IBKR, I set them and they don't work. It's ridiculous. I try to talk to their support and they send me to the same old tutorials. THEIR SYSTEM LETS ME CREATE a stop (some of the time), they just DO NOT EVER TRIGGER! In Schwab, it's so much easier. I have another Schwab account, happy except for the lack of the early 3 hours. I'm gonna rotate my IBKR account to Webull if this doesn't improve.

Hello, glad to help. The data from IBKR should be suitable unless you require tick by tick data or full unrestricted historical data.
