Easier/Harder/Similar compared to hanging from 2 wheels?
It’s just a little harder to get hanging on one wheel, but much easier to drop because one front wheel hangs closer to the ground.

I run my track width equal. Not sure the rationale to do it differently. Yes - I want spider mode for sure!
