i really like your videos as they help me understand the topic easily. I was sad i wasnt able to find topic 2.6 and 2.7, if you could upload that, it would be amazing.
thank you for the videos they are so useful! although I have a question, in the ib biology oxford book or guide I cant find anything related to primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary structure of protein except in topic 7. so does that mean I learn it only for hl because they are included in this video as well for topic 2
From my understanding you do need to know about them for the SL curriculum. They are tied to this understanding: "The amino acid sequence determines the three-dimensional conformation of a protein." It is laid out specifically and in more detail in Topic 7, but knowing the basics is definitely important if you are only taking the SL exam. If you are doing the HL curriculum its great review! 2:11 As of 2024 at least, the model is known by the IB as the "hand in glove" model. Please not that and don't write the "lock and key model" in the test.
