I’ve been a lukewarm Christian . But a year ago I made a conscious decision to focus on Christ and work on my faith . Deactivated all my social media account and I’ve been going back and forth, there are days that I struggle to be obedient and even trusting of Gods judgement . Then there are days when I’m simply grateful for the life I have and practice gratitude effortlessly. But I must say a couple weeks ago, went through so much trials and tribulations that I’m ashamed to admit once again I have lost my walk in Christ . I lost my love Saturday night, he didn't die but he is completely done with me. I put us in danger due to being drunk. He sees this as unforgivable and although I understand, it hurts so bad. The Anti Drift // Anchored Paul received persecution for walking in his purpose. Do not pray for purpose, without knowing about the persecution. You will receive criticism, people will not always agree with you when you do the will of God. Paul wrote 1/4 of the New Testament. He probably wrote our favourite scriptures in between beatings. What are you doing in between losses, in between disappointments? What comes out of you? Do not wait for right moments to produce, produce something for God in the middle of your trials, in the middle of your hard seasons! There is no right time to produce. Romans 5:8 Colossians 3:23 Philippians 4:19 2 Corinthians 5:17 Philippians 4:6 Corinthians 13:4 Paul produced in the midst of persecution. No matter what happens to you this entire year, you will produce! Even though you have not seen the promise and go through problem after problem. But you will only produce if you are anchored to something that is not moving. Acts 27:10-11 Ignoring God’s warning always leaves you wrecked. Nothing is wrong with it, but it is wrong for you! Do you go past the warning of God? A warning of God is a miracle in pre-form. It is a miracle before you need it. Obeying God is Gods favour on your life before you need it. Stop high-stepping the Holy Spirit! You can listen to God, but what are you listening to more? Who do you spend the most time with? 2021 is the year of the anti drift. We are anchored, because we cannot drift. The enemy wants to be so consistent to let you drift away slowly. Being carried away from something means that you are carried to something else. It happens slowly and consistently, but it affects everybody. Do not allow this to happen, no drift in 2021! The myth of the drift is that it happens suddenly, but it happens slowly. Your drift in private affects others in public. What is little for you, becomes a lifestyle for your future generations. Don’t drift and stay anchored! If you’re in a destination that is not destiny, it was either a drift or a decision. James 1:13-15 Your desires and decisions make sinful actions. When sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. But today can be a turning point! Decide not to drift anymore and invite God into the decision. God can help you in anything!! Drifting begines when obedience to God ends. Acts 27:13 Arrogance is the primary ingredient that will make you assume you can take action without God. That is why your drift becomes a drown. How arrogant are you? What are parts of your life that God is not a part of, because you never asked Him to? Your replacement is not needed if you stay in place. We would not know David if Saul did not drift, if he would have remained anchored. Just because you’re anointed, it doesn’t mean that you’re anchored. You have to decide not to be arrogant but to be anchored! Every day that you do not pray, you basically say ‘It’s okay God, I got this’. Stop being arrogant and acknowledge that you need Him everyday! Arrogance leads to dumb actions. Acts 27:13 Close obedience isn’t close enough. Drop your anchor! God is calling you to be anchored in this world. Acts 27:14-15 The little things you’re doing right now and not being anchored leave you open to the opportunity to be blown out to sea. Don’t give up because you’ve drifted into a storm. God sees you and He will help you in the storm! You have not seen the best days of your life yet! Acts 27:18 What matters in the calm doesn’t matter in crises. Take inventory now! Do not bring something on the boat that you will throw out in the storm. Acts 27:21-22 There are consequences to disobeying God, but you won’t lose your life. His grace is still sufficient! Some things may blow, and not work out, but you are going to live. Crazy faith starts with crazy obedience. Take courage, the loss doesn’t mean you lose. The ship may go down, but you will make it. Acts 27:23-26 You can have peace with just a piece. Pastor Mike, I just want to say that my heart cries with you hearing you talk about MJ. I'm also believing for my son to speak. It doesn't look like I thought it would. We have so many expectations when having children, just regular things we would take for granted otherwise. Like just making jokes with your child. And how we long for those moments! I am hanging on to my piece of hope that one day he will simply be able to tell me how he feels. Its hard. And I have drifted trying to find comfort - and that's the exact word that cane to my mind. This is so prophetic for me watching this in 2022. Last year I pretty much was drifting and following the advice from the wrong people and false prophets, when my major "storm" hit me towards the end. That same "crowd" was no where to be found when I had to battle the banks for my car and my home and I thought I was going under. It's only because of the Grace of GOD, his disciples, and praying to him that my whole situation has changed and I'm higher than I ever been with faith stronger than it's ever been. I have to thank a friend for introducing me to Transformation Church because I've renewed my connection with God and ask/pray for continued guidance in my life. I've been watching a sermon almost every day now and it's been so relatable to different moments in my life. I'm just grateful to be alive with a loving family and the capacity to grow fuller in faith. Not perfect but progressing. Thank you Pastor Todd and thank you God.

Paul received persecution for walking in his purpose. Do not pray for purpose, without knowing about the persecution. You will receive criticism, people will not always agree with you when you do the will of God.

Pastor Mike, I just want to say that my heart cries with you hearing you talk about MJ. I'm also believing for my son to speak. It doesn't look like I thought it would. We have so many expectations when having children, just regular things we would take for granted otherwise. Like just making jokes with your child. And how we long for those moments! I am hanging on to my piece of hope that one day he will simply be able to tell me how he feels. Its hard. And I have drifted trying to find comfort - and that's the exact word that cane to my mind. This is so prophetic for me watching this in 2022. Last year I pretty much was drifting and following the advice from the wrong people and false prophets, when my major "storm" hit me towards the end. That same "crowd" was no where to be found when I had to battle the banks for my car and my home and I thought I was going under. It's only because of the Grace of GOD, his disciples, and praying to him that my whole situation has changed and I'm higher than I ever been with faith stronger than it's ever been. I have to thank a friend for introducing me to Transformation Church because I've renewed my connection with God and ask/pray for continued guidance in my life. I've been watching a sermon almost every day now and it's been so relatable to different moments in my life. I'm just grateful to be alive with a loving family and the capacity to grow fuller in faith. Not perfect but progressing. Thank you Pastor Todd and thank you God.
