Bedroom 1: "Let's future proof the house. When you have mobility constraints." Moments later....kitchen at the top floor! 😅 😂 I love it, very unique! ❤
😂😂True! Can’t imagine what will happen to my knees carrying all the heavy grocery bags to the kitchen in the top floor! Not very convenient for young families and elderly people!
I got what she meant. I'm in a wheelchair and I have a new build house with stairs. I put a stair lift in mine. Sadly lifts frequently need servicing. On the 2 or 3 times a year it breaks down, it would be handy to have a downstairs bedroom. As it is, I have to sleep on the sofa when that happens. My daughter also uses a wheelchair but she doesn't feel comfortable transferring to the lift so she won't visit mine. If I had a downstairs bedroom it might persuade her to visit. As a wheelchair user I wouldn't mind the upstairs kitchen provided there was an area for a kettle/microwave on the ground floor in case of break downs.
Hi everyone! This property is so unique due to its unique upside down layout, also all the fixed fittings, tiling, flooring come with the property as STANDARD which is a breath of fresh air due to the lack of extra costs you'd have to factor into the property. There are Villas which have kitchens on the ground floor, but this house type suits someone who specifically wants the 'upside down' living concept. We loved so much about this property and would love to know what you thought about it.
Stunning house, I can understand why the kitchen/living space is on the top floor but you’d definitely need to set up a kettle in the utility room to save running up and down stairs with hot drinks! I really love all the black handles and fittings, the whole house is just beautiful.
Hi, I've been watching and subscribed to your excellent channel for a while now. Your doing a above excellent job with your presentations and to be honest I've yet to come across a better presenter (on UA-cam)for new homes and builds like these. You take the time to explain and comment on nearly every feature with a depth of knowledge and experience few others can compete with. So well done for that and keep up the good work and beautifully edited videos! I always look forward to watching more. Also, don't be afraid to opinion more about area details, and eco-friendliness of new builds which will increasingly be a deciding factor here. The main reason I wanted to comment here though, was on this particularly innovative stunning property with it's third storey kitchen? - Really? While a great ideal. it's just not practical without some additional kitchen provision downstairs. You'd think the developers would have catered for this rather than expecting people to simply buy into this ideal? They did it with a ground floor en-suite bedroom but not for a ground floor kitchen? Makes no sense to me? And undoubtedly might put a lot of potential buyers off...Just my view of course 🙂
Hi Kwamla, thank you for the comments, we really appreciate your encouragement and are thrilled that you enjoy our channel 😊! You also raised some valid points, there are ground floor kitchens on the other styles of this house type so we imagine this particular style with the utility is for someone who specifically loves the upside down lifestyle inspired by Scandinavian architecture. Additionally, maybe the utility can be upgraded to a kitchen? 😁
@@PropertyVlogsUK Yes, that was my thought too about upgrading the utility room. Makes much better sense. Interesting to know they have implemented this on other properties. Sounds like this was a test to see how people might react? 😏
Well done, loved the presentation. Especially the arrows at the start indicating what you were talking about , because some of us are not that knowledgeable when it comes to houses😊
One of the finest houses youve toured. I wish the kitchen was preferably on ground or 1st floor, its more convenient especially with entertaining visitors
Love it! My only change/ addition would be to have a 2 person lift in there somewhere because that’ll be a lot of work going up n down those stairs every day especially if one had ailments/ elderly guests etc, but it is beautifully staged too
It’s a beautiful house love it 💗💗My question is how many times would I have to go back downstairs to get the shopping up to the kitchen so I think a lift is needed 😂❤❤
Hello & hope you're both safe & well. Loving this home, would prefer a detached property for the price. My favourite area is ground floor, never seen you show an ensuite in downstairs bedroom before, just love it.💖 Also, access to garden from cozy snug area, plus good size utility room is imperative for me. However, would remove garage door & have kitchen installed in that area with patio doors. If planning permission denied, would have a table top oven & definitely a kettle!! Take care & have a nice week too. 🌸☕🍰👩🍳💗
I absolutely love this property- extra walk up the stairs to the kitchen for those views! Reasonable trade off! They do have the traditional layouts in some of their other homes in this development This screams of multi generational living you could totally install minimal kitchen counter and mini fridge with a kettle on the lower ground for older/ less mobile family members - so much potential! Was the top floor well ventilated? As there was no extraction at the stove.
Hi Miss.Amour glad you enjoyed our tour of this property 😊 The kitchen has a down draft extractor built into the hob, there are also windows and rooflights which can be opened for additional ventilation 😉.
nice but they forgot to realise you have to carry shopping up not 1 but 2 or 3 flights of stairs, same with the rubbish carry down the stairs better make sure no holes in ya black bags😮
@justjee2023 lol! if its for a elderly family member/disabled person it works well. Its kind of self contained on the ground floor and you could put a air fryer/microwave/kettle etc in the utility room. They would have their own living room, bathroom, bed room and kitchenette on the ground floor and upstairs would be for the extended family. I don't normally like new builds but this is one of the best multi generational new builds i have seen.
Amazing house love this video. However 1 thing I didn't like about the patio doors throughout the house should be flush with the ground apart from that an incredible home.
Fabulous property to be a guest in, but I would wouldn’t want to live there because you would have to drag all your shopping up 2 flights of stairs. If you had the ground floor bedroom, you definitely wouldn’t be going upstairs for a midnight snack. 😂 I would try to locate a washing machine on one of the upper floors, otherwise you’re constantly going up and down with sheets, towels etc. Perhaps put it in that superb pantry, and then dry your washing on the roof terrace. Sorry to be so practical. 😊
Very Lovely House 🏠 If That Was My House 🏠 I Will Preferred The Last Top Floor To Be My Master Bedroom With My Bedroom, Full Bathroom, Huge Walk In Closet And My Sitting Area. The Whole Entertainment Will Be On The Ground Floor With The Outside Space.
Lovely home if I was still in my 20s or 30s. Love that downstairs bedroom but having to go all the way up for a snack or a drink, hmmm that stairs would kill me.
My favourite property so far. Absolutely stunning. And fit for 21st century living. The only thing is carrying the weekly shop all the way up to the kitchen. But I'm sure I would recover by relaxing on that terrace overlooking the views. ❤
I knew as soon as I saw the outside that this was going to be expensive, who ha that kind of money these days! I prayed that it would be in my price bracket but no sadly not lol. Also there really is no point having a downstairs bedroom for future mobility issues when the kitchen is up two flights of stairs! Better to put in a lift then that would have been impressive. I am on the fence with this one and not because it's way over what my budget would be but because I can just see it, settling down for the evening then the dogs want to go in the garden so down two stories to let them out, back up , repeat in an hour etc etc. Also, I like that the utility room is downstairs but why didn't they add a normal door to access the garden instead of having to either open the garage door or open the french doors through the snug. Love the decor though, very stylish.
Hi over there! I hope you are fine! Please, tell me, where is that house? I mean, in which country? What are the main conditions for buying it? Thank you for your reply on my question.
This is a lovely and spacious property. However I am not sure about having the kitchen and dining room right on the top floor of the house. The top floor should have been a living room.
I love your videos. Watching from Las Vegas, How do you guys live without conditioning? 😂. Those radiator things on all the walls in most of the homes you tour look so unusual.
Hi Michael, about once or twice a year the UK has a heatwave where temperatures are high enough to warrant an air conditioner. Other than that temperatures are relatively mild😊
Las Vegas is a desert, so air conditioning is perhaps a good idea. Not too good for your health though. I live in Italy, and prefer to open the windows and breathe in natural air.
Don’t buy a house with no bathroom window for ventilation you will have damp and mould problem, not always but there is a good change, these developers know this but they still built houses like this
I get why the kitchen is upstairs due to roof terrace but its a huge risk. Im not climbing all those steps just to get to the kitchen. Nope. At least There needs to be a mini kitchen downstairs. But yes its a nice property.
Hi Hope, there are other villas where the kitchen is downstairs in that case :), you could also use the utility as a mini kitchen if you add the right appliances ;)
What is really annoying if I were a buyer is; NO charging point in garage or somewhere for electric car, No heat pump or solar panels, NO energy information. I think I would be more concern about above issues the the nobs on cabinets etc. 🤔
Sorry, it's fine. I saw that house is UK. But can a foreigner who has no the UK citizenship buy a such house like that? What says the UK law about buying a house? Please provide me a very short explanation on that matter. Thank U

@@PropertyVlogsUK no doubt but these developers squeeze every kast drop.. would it really hurt their bottom line to make it detached? the owners are already doubtless paying a management fee. its just annoying but this is the market.
I have missed some parts of this tour in the ground floor. When i saw the upstairs kitchen I thought this was a gourmet space to recive people and host parts etc. Or place to say, i am not at home kind of thing. 1- is there any lift to take groceries to the top floor? If not how is someone going to carry groceries to the top floor. If you pay a domesti to this for you its a waste of time/money. 2- Are you going to carry rubbish downstairs through the carpeted flooring? Or is there any provision to throw the rubbish from the top floor. But this is just another " british great house layou" en suite with bathroon and closet in oposite sides. Or toilet in front of the bed. These arquitects/developers are trying to do these uk houses look big like American house, but they are just lost. The so call third world country called Brazil (I am not Brazilian) where the arquitects can do much better design that UK where most things are accessible and way cheaper ( british is old fashion bad taste design).
