    You have the patience of a Saint. I've noticed that as my hair is growing it becomes more tangled. I have fine strands so it takes about 30 minutes to detangle.

    • @NJEberhart

      😂😂😂 not always but I try. Def the longer your hair is the more it gets tangled. I’m jealous about the 30 mins though. Mine is always an hour at least 😭

    This is great, as someone who also has fine strands I avoid going straight in with my tangle teaser. Usually finger detangle, then wide tooth comb, then tangle teaser. What i need to work on is having the shears near by to cut out knots i cant work through instead of getting frustrated and popping them off 😅

    • @NJEberhart

      Yessss def think detangling involves levels for sure. Having my shears near by is something I’ve been doing the last couple of years and it has def helped. Thanks for watching Samantha 💕

    Interesting technique. Does it stay detangled until styling or do you have to detangle throwout the washing and conditioner process?

    • @curlieeloks3032
      @curlieeloks3032 3 роки тому +4

      Very good question ! I’m glad you asked because I still have to detangle after putting a deep conditioner/conditioner in my hair after shampooing (although I prepoo detangled as the first step)

      You can try keeping your hair in chunky detangled twists from your prepoo step and clean parts to avoid snagging. Next, work with those twists at each wash day step to avoid retangling and less manipulation.

    • @NJEberhart
      @NJEberhart  3 роки тому

      Hey Erika! I try to keep my hair in 4 sections throughout the wash day. My hair does get a little tangled during the other steps of my process but I just use my fingers and I’m good to go!

    Sometimes it helps to pull down on the end of the knot, then separate.

  • @ellie5373

    I've gone back to the basics with my detangling and keep it simple for the best results. A moisturizing shampoo is a must to prevent matting and excessive tangling, I let my hair soak in a generous amount of Aussie 5 minute rinse-out conditioner, and detangle as soon as I'm out the shower in medium-size sections with a wide tooth comb. I'm done in 15 minutes tops and experience minimal breakage that way. I tried the tangle teezer brushes and find that the teeth of the brush eventually bends and cause too much manipulation and snagging. I get way less shedding with the comb and my hair retains length

    • @NJEberhart
      @NJEberhart  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks for sharing your detangling routine Ellie 😊. Wide tooth combs are just so much more gentle and I love that! Thanks for watching 💕

    Once you wash your hair do you have to detangle it again before doing your wash and go? I prefer to detangle before washing but since following blackgirlcurls I detangle in the shower with conditioner. I don’t like the Felicia leatherwood brush and would like to go back to detangling with a wide tooth comb before washing but I’m not sure how to keep my hair from getting tangled up while washing it.

    • @NJEberhart
      @NJEberhart  3 роки тому

      Hey Donna 😊. So my hair doesn’t stay 100% detangled the entire time. I do get a few more tangled throughout the wash day but those I can just get out with my fingers or a wide tooth comb pretty quickly. Hope that helps:

    Do you always detangle your hair in this manner outside of the shower? If so it is admirable. I do not have the patience for such care when detangling and detangle in the shower because of the help from running water. I do at least finger detangle though, and then I follow up with a pass-through of a detangling brush.

    • @NJEberhart

    *What is the Gospel?*
    The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
    Ephesians 2:8-9
    For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
    Romans 10:9
    9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
    JESUS CHRIST can come anytime!
    REPENT OF YOUR SINS Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS
