Y'all know I love my twist outs, braid outs, and twaid outs. So I wanted to share some of my favorite product combos with you are. Some are cream only and while others include gels for extra hold. Some are brand exclusive and some involve product mixing. I got a combo for everyone!

My favorite is to use the Adwoa leave in and cream, then top it with Kinky Curly Curling Custard. The most defined and long lasting twist out ever.

Fave combo is CR moisture milk, CR almond jai, and top with CR curl maker gel. Great definition and moisture through out the week🙂

I've been loving Curl Love with the Blueberry Bliss Twist N Shout Cream for twist outs. So much moisture and a hold that lasts more than a week.

First let me get this out the way YOUR HAIR THOUGH!!! You betta serve us sis. Now I was sitting here thinking what products I wanted to use when I practice yes practice my flat twist on this week’s midweek wash. Adwoa it is. I just did a WnG with the defining gel and I’m still enjoying my hair

I. Love. Your. Hair. This style is everything. And the color is gorgeous! I have to use regular color because temporary does nothing for these aggravating grays I have. I’m so tired of the companies changing formulas and “fixing” what isn’t broken. Also, I went to Mane Krush’s website and they don’t even have a butter other than the Magikal Butter, which is only in stock in the fall. It’s frustrating, because I use butters year-round in my hair. Lol. and I’ve discovered that I LOVE using the Uniqurl with Bask & Bloom’s Silky Aloe Curl Pudding, which is basically a butter.

I recently tried the NLS strawberry styler with the kinky tresses leave in. I sealed with the pudding from bask and bloom. I was obsessed w my hair that week! Soo much moisture, so soft and super defined!

I just used the Uniqurl 4-in-1 styler with the TGIN honey whip mousse and I got a great twistout!! Not sure how long it's going to last since my hair feels really soft and typically doesn't hold styles very long in general but I'm obsessed with how it looks today!

Hey Nisha. I had posted a comment about TreLuxe’s Curl Supreme, on your last video. I had no clue you tried it. I think I could have received a bad batch of the Mane Krush’s Magikal Butter, because mine is so gritty. I enjoyed the Unikorn Kurls, though. The Adwoa Beauty products that you use for twists, gives me great wash and go results. They smell great too. Maybe I’ll try the Baomint Leave-In with the Ecoslay Jello Shot Gel, that I just received. I knew it was the hair paint. It’s beautiful. My last twist out I used a gel and it improved tremendously. I’m gonna try the Camille Rose combo next since I have those products. We love a lot of the same leave ins. Adwoa Beauty, Untie the Knot, Camille Rose, etc. I think I have more leave ins then anything else.

Well I found my Easter hair style! I tried a flat twist out on a old silk press and that was a nope so I did some braids.

Hey! Thank you so much for this, came right in time for my wash day for tomorrow. In regards to Tre luxe do you have the serum? I think it’s in a purple bottle, was interested to see how it would pair with the cream as opposed to the other gel. I’m going to use the melanin hair care this time with the mane choice gel and see how that works. I had the proceed with Caution but I had it so long it went bad on me, it just didn’t look right so I threw it out. I had a great twist out with tgin miracle repair hair food with the gelato. I absolutely love your videos, this video made me go back to my hair lab aka closet lol and try out some new combos! I love your hair as well, makes me want to grow my sides again!

Do all the adwoa products smell minty?
Yes, they all have the same minty smell. Normally I don’t like minty smells but I love the adwoa smell since it’s a sweet mint smell.
My roots are still puffy with twist outs. Everything else is defined lol

Have you tried tying your roots down with a scarf? I don’t usually do twist outs but that’s how I get my roots smooth when I wear twists!
Use edge control at the roots of your twists before twisting.
I think she started doing twaid outs to address that. It's where you braid the first couple inches and twist the rest.
Hey love all of these suggestions are good for puffy roots. Sometimes adding extra gel or products help. My roots def get puffy over time 😂
