It was amazing and an excellent accompaniment to the general Fake Karakura saga. The death of Ulquiorra has strongly tragic element to it, with bin understanding the human heart with Orihime's encouragement and them reaching out to each other was a highlight.

Also on the topic of ulquiora. What’s your take on him withholding his second resurrection form from aizen? Was it due to him feeling he may have to reserve some info from aizen incase he needed to fight him one day? Or was it just ulquiorras basic logic of just not really carrying about much of anything so he never went out of his way to show it. Because I feel despite baragon being the head honcho and other vasto lordes like white existing, ulquiorra proved to be the strongest hollow in general that we saw during the bleach main timeline.
Hollows were a major part of Ichigo’s and Orihime’s tragedies. Throughout their adventures in hueco mundo, they treated them like humans. Sharing mercy and kindness. To them hollows also have a right to live. They’re not just stray creatures that need to be killed at first sight.
Not to be that guy, but I don't necessarily follow the belief that Ichigo and Orihime's bond is the reason for Ichigo taking on the monstrous form, nor was his desire to protect her responsible for it. I prefer to take the idea that it was the hollow within Ichigo that seized control as he had previously warned Ichigo of what would happen if he were to die. I think this also fits the theme well, though and ties directly back into further revelations down the road. Especially with the reveal of exactly what that Hollow is/was, how it operated and the reveal before the Aizen battle that all his inner hollow and old man zangetsu wanted was to protect Ichigo. In the official Japanese as well, Vasto Lorde Ichigo repeatedly states the word "Protect", he never indicates who or what is being protected, and further evidence to support it is the fact that he sent Orihime flying with absolutely no regards for her or her safety at all upon getting up and getting his sword. I think it runs even deeper into hammering this theme home than anyone present realizes at the time, and it probably isn't fully until "The Blade is Me" that Ichigo realizes that very same 'heart' and bond is what dictated the actions of the hollow within him. It had formed a connection to Ichigo, valued his life and fought every single time to protect, shield or attempt to scare Ichigo off of a self-destructive path that could very well have seen him end up dead.

@ I think Beach peaked at the Ichigo VsUlq Las Noches fight.All of the reasons of why it is one of the best fights just go rewatch the video. I don't have much of a problem with the fullbringer arc but the TYBW had too many quincies to keep track of and lost terribly(looking at u Gremmy),the fights don't heavily impact the story like Yamamoto's fight doing nothing to stop Ywach's forces,Ichigo was a side character that wole arc while the war was going down,Squad 0 was half baked at best,Ywach's abilities are too broken and couldn't be beat in a believable or clever way,the fucking arrow that took him down,byakuya's plot armor,Uryu doing nothing despit that arc being about him and his people,renji getting another bankai despite being outclassed as far back as arrancar saga,the arrancar getting shafted for most of this despite their existence being a core part of them and the soul reapers identitiy,the visards not using their masks even after their bankai's were stolen,Aizen not acomplishing shit,Ichigo's training was pointless to beating ywach cause al you needed was Ishida's bs arrow.
