- The UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) reviews the UK during its session from 5 to 23 August. The UK delegation is expected to talk about recent events in which right-wing agitators fueled a week of anti-immigrant violence by circulating misinformation about the identity of the suspect in a knife attack that killed three young girls in the English seaside town of Southport on July 29.

The world is watching. Human rights must function in any country. Legal immigrants must not be discriminated for their colour. They are skilled workers working for the benifit of British economy. They themselves have left their own countries for their own well being. UK should monitor immigrants when they enter the country to avoid unnecessary conflicts. UK Government lacks efficiency in solving this issue and is functioning in silence. Public policies should be public and stable and impartial so that there won't be clashes between blacks and whites. Fair and equality and justice must be done to all. Atleast now this problem must be taken into consideration to avoid violence in the country. A country cannot develope amidst civil wars. England should know better. The Britishers must not feel insecure in their own country and the immigrants should feel safe to live and work there.
What is this racism when people have mixed marriages and that the country is multinational. Ofcourse extremism of any kind must be discouraged. We still have faith in the Britishers and we believe that they will be able to handle this situation with love and care on both blacks and whites. Please employ peace and harmony in the country. Government must act fast. Otherwise people take law into their own hands and riot.
