Alright, so, y'know how back when video games were almost exclusively marketed towards heteronormative men and boys for a WHILE? And as a result we had hyper-masculine games reign over the industry for a WHILE? (which I also play and love, don't get me wrong, rip & tear, until it is yadda yadda) This game, and by extension this review, feels like looking through a portal into another dimension where the inflection point was the inverse -- what if games were as big as they are now, as commercially successful, as profit driven as the worst actors can be, but the only difference is that they were initially marketed as "for girls?" Put more succinctly, this game feels like it fell out of a rip in space and time. I really don't like gachas, so I'm probably never going to play this, but I appreciate that glimpse into another, probably better, reality. I hope to see it more often. 😄
There is nothing wrong with a gacha monetization system for free to play live service games... I mean, how do you expect to get things of this quality otherwise?
If the game is good enough then it won't have to rely on abusing addictive personality traits & constant pestering to get the playerbase to support it. Make no mistake, gacha is a shortcut.
@@b-l1969 Gacha is a cheap way to ostensibly force people who are susceptible to marketing and addiction to support the game, rather than allowing players to support it because they choose to. There.

No inverted camera controls on PS5…unbelievable.
And...the actual platforming seen heavily in trailers...anything said about that?...no....riiiiight!
Let’s hope all the Natlan complainers leaving genshin and finally shut up for once.
So.. is there any demons or monsters we can fight?.
Alright, so, y'know how back when video games were almost exclusively marketed towards heteronormative men and boys for a WHILE? And as a result we had hyper-masculine games reign over the industry for a WHILE? (which I also play and love, don't get me wrong, rip & tear, until it is yadda yadda)
This game, and by extension this review, feels like looking through a portal into another dimension where the inflection point was the inverse -- what if games were as big as they are now, as commercially successful, as profit driven as the worst actors can be, but the only difference is that they were initially marketed as "for girls?"
Put more succinctly, this game feels like it fell out of a rip in space and time. I really don't like gachas, so I'm probably never going to play this, but I appreciate that glimpse into another, probably better, reality. I hope to see it more often. 😄
Damn i saw this in my recommendations... And im kinda glad i ain't gloss over it
This is the Nikki you dress her up?
I'm a girl but Infinity Nikki kinda fire thou
Does infinity niki have the ability to turn into cute cats and bunnies and puppies and other cute creatures
Visually very pleasing, Nikki's clothing is so beautiful & well tailored! 😊👍
Really wish this was on PS4.

😕 hoped it had some combat, most games need combat for me
4:42 me too Nikki
I loved your video! ❤
Why is the UI EXACTLY the same as Genshin?
Straight male, I’m down for this.
Can you play as heterosexual male in this game?
This looks adorable!
I cannot wait to play 😻
There is nothing wrong with a gacha monetization system for free to play live service games... I mean, how do you expect to get things of this quality otherwise?
If the game is good enough then it won't have to rely on abusing addictive personality traits & constant pestering to get the playerbase to support it. Make no mistake, gacha is a shortcut.
@ not at all. So you’d be happy paying $60 for this, and 10 or $15 per month as a service? That’s your preference?
@@b-l1969 Not even remotely close to what I said. Read it again.
@ NAH. Say it better.
@@b-l1969 Gacha is a cheap way to ostensibly force people who are susceptible to marketing and addiction to support the game, rather than allowing players to support it because they choose to. There.
Looks absolutely gorgeous

Welcome to every single game that has online features.
The girlies are up with this one. I can’t wait. 💅
Rip my storage space
pink hair anime girls are always crazy lol
Does it have SKIP button hehe
already pre-registration Waiting 🎉
Dress up games are boring...this one actually seems fun !
How many more years does hoYo have to put out inhuman amounts of content, getting better every year, with little to no bugs or drama, while other Genshin killers stumble, before people learn. It ain't easy, actually it's hard af. Have y'all seen the content droughts in L&D lol, and this company is supposed to set a new standard? I'm seriously excited for Nikki so please stop sabotaging the game with delusional takes that'll only serve as fuel to knock it down. I've been through that with WW already, it's exhausting.
I agree with everything except of inhuman amounts of content lol .. at least for people who have been playing from the start there is no content except events and waiting for the yearly archon quests. There’s barely anything to do lol
director Kentaro Tominaga
Comparisons to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017) are easy and accurate, since former Zelda director Kentaro Tominaga led development on Infinity Nikki.
This is it bois! 🔥
Only incompetent person may say that this game will compete with genshin.
All the homies will be playing
i have played Nikki games for years so i definitely will check out Infinity, but I don't think it will be my main dress up gatcha. As much as fun is Nikki and her friends, Shinning, previous game in series, and now Infinity don't look like they offer that much in terms of customization as for example Life Makeover. Which also looks killer on PC, has insanely good clothes dying system, quite big house building mode and devs keep hinting at adding open world at some point as well
