Thank you so much for this video. Your instructions and demonstration were the answer to my frustrations of trying to get the falcon on the stand w/o a complete destruction of the build. It worked great. Thank you
Thank you for being so thoughtful, and detailed, I’ve been putting a lot of thought into how I was going to approach this, and it looks like you have the ultimate solution thank you so much.
Excellent video, works perfect. I was panicking a bit when I had to turn it upside down on the pillows but no worries, didn't loose one piece, and as you say, all by myself. Just one point, at 3.30 you said you had to leave out the 4 lower 2x1 bricks but I found the pins located perfectly with them on. I'll just have to remove all the top panels again when I get the heavy duty shelf on my wall. Thanks again Christian. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for making this video I bought a stand for my star destroyer off wicked brick and it had no instructions and I ended up breaking it now I will be buying this for the falcon
That’s a lot of disassembly. I put the falcon on soda cans to lift it high enough where I can attach the stand from underneath, then just titled it upright.
Great video, you were super helpful as I too bought this stand from Amazon (mine didn't come in a fancy "gift box" as the seller promised, nor was it the dark grey colour beams, but otherwise it's fine), at 2:33 in your video I also noticed this same issue during the construction of my stand, at no stage in my instructions did it show the beam connected through that long blue pin, only in images of the completed stand online did I notice it should be, but during construction I felt it should connect, it fitted, and (though I am yet to mount my Falcon onto it) it seems to make the stand more sturdy.
I had all the same problems you had. It came in a crappy brown box, brick colour was light grey and found the same thing with that long technic piece not showing to link up with the blue pin. The instructions were so hard to read because the diagrams were so small. I'm only half way through assembling the stand at the moment but I wanted to watch it on UA-cam and it seems like everyone has the same problem. This has solved everything.
I just finished bag 13 and decided to do the same to give me more room to lay out the pieces to complete the build. Then I get to take it apart to install the lighting kit. It'll look awesome once it's finally done lol.
Thanks for the great video, Christian. I just finished building the 75257 Millenium Falcon and I have a different stand to mount it to. Any suggestions or experience with this kit? Thanks, Marc
What's the depth on this thing? How many inches deep does your shelf need to be to get the falcon to fit on it while being as close to the wall as possible?
Question , I just mounted mine on the stand and put for display ,,, is it easy to take it off the stand ? 😂 would it be easier to transport it for example to a new house with the stand on or try to remove it?
So true ! I ordered the pieces by brick link and received lots of pieces not realwted to the build. And what you are saying about this pieces supposed to not be connected just made me mad !
Just wanna say you video is really good but the 4 small 2 peice bits you remove is not needed, I know alot say they won't fit they will you just need to wiggle the bottom 4 about a bit and semi very slightly compress the Stand between the upper and lower points
Basically have to deconstruct half the falcon to put that piece of shit stand on, but the one from wicked bricks and you’ll do 1/8 of the effort and it looks unreal
Wow I wouldn't trust displaying anything on that janky stand, let alone a UCS model. It looks like its about to crumble and it looks terrible. There are far better options out there.
After looking at many videos on this project you had the best bar none. Thanks for this great video.

Really helpful to see where the pins were located. Thanks!!

Thanks for this video. Followed it and had no issues
Glad I could help!!! Yeah it’s been 2 years and still working perfect!
Woohoo! Thank you. Finally got to put my falcon on the stand with your detailed instructions!

Looks great! Had no idea this stand even existed
Yeah it's a great price and holds up well!! This set is too big to not have it haha

Thanks for watching!!
Great vid and walkthrough of how you go about installing the stand.
Thank you for watching!!
thanks a lot, this helped me figuring out the placement of the stand.
This was great! Thank you!
Thank you for Watching!
Very informative. I purchased a very similar stand, assembled, but hadn’t yet put the MF on it. Good video-thanks!
It took an hour to put together!!😂😂 Thanks for the help tough!
God bless your soul, just put mine up like 10 mins ago and I prolly woulda shattered it without you ❤️
Thanks for the help I wouldn’t have been able to figure it out by myself 😂
Top Video my friend 👍🏻
@@krimskrams6829 thank you!
Very nice video, thanks
Thank you!
Thx, this helped me a lot with installing the build on the stand
Nice!
Hi, may I know what’s the width or depth of the falcon on the stand. Need to check that it fits my shelf. Thanks a lot.
Thank you so so so much actually a goat
I’ve just finished bag 10 and since the underside is complete will be placing it on the stand before adding anymore weight.

Thanks for the video very helpful!!
That same piece fell off on mine where the heck does it go?!
Thank you man!
Thanks my dude.

@@mjchevalier I’ve only had experience with this one which I enjoy!! Hope your loving the Falcon
Amazing Thanks for uploading this bro

I also want to know this. I really want to get the Falcon set but unless I get a stand for it I just don't have the space for the finished thing.
You posted this 5 months ago, how has the stand held up since then?
I'm thinking of buying it but the fear of the set falling is terrifying
Been perfect!!! Stands in good condition. No bending or warping
what are dimensions after placing Falcon on the stand ?
How has the stand held up long term? Want to make sure it doesn't fall apart over time before I buy the parts for this.
Question , I just mounted mine on the stand and put for display ,,, is it easy to take it off the stand ? 😂 would it be easier to transport it for example to a new house with the stand on or try to remove it?
So sorry for the late response haha, but leave on the stand I’d say, keeps things pretty stable!
What's the depth of the whole peice being on this mount? My display cabinet is only 40cm deep, I'm wondering if this will fit. Thanks!
So true ! I ordered the pieces by brick link and received lots of pieces not realwted to the build. And what you are saying about this pieces supposed to not be connected just made me mad !
Quick question can you let me know the height with the falcon attached as I want to install a shelf and need to know the height
Has anyone tried or considered building the falcon onto the stand as they go from scratch?
Or at a bare minimum install the stand as soon as the base of the falcon is complete rather than after the whole thing is done?
Now that would be interesting to see!!
Can you do a video on how the stand is holding up over the years?
I sold the set and stand approx 6 months ago. But if stood perfect for the year and a half I had it (:
How did he make it look eo easy @-@
I had a little practice haha, did it like 3 times before recording
@@ChristianLopez33 Let me just say when I did it gravity was not on my side..
So baller
Ya know it🤑

Sheesh

A $30 stand versus a $75 stand....of course the $75 stand will be better lol
