I'm running a T-56, and got the wiring harness for that. The X Max has a port for trans control and I think you could even run an automatic trans with it. The T56 trans wiring does have a control for the reverse lockout solenoid and a wire for the back-up lights.
Holley puts together a nice wiring kit, looks pretty plug and play. Is it more than just engine management? I was wondering about the transmission and brake connections.
The wiring sure looked intimidating until you laid it all out. Just a thought… Can you modify the glovebox to put the modules inside of it? Things are looking good!

That was one thought. I had another thought I'm going to look into...but I have to see if it's feasible.
