The new tool really sucks. Takes me 10 extra minutes to list each listing since i have lots of specifics in my items. I have complained to ebay and left negative review for them to know it is not productive. I also have employees listing for me, so now it cost me more to get stuff listed. If you don't like it, let eBay know in every possible way, so they keep the old listing tool as an alternative and we have a choice....

i just noticed now on new listing i tried to create and how can i say it nicely it sucks. i guess it justifies Ebay reps to keep there jobs the more they screw up with how the system has been working even when we had turbo lister and i can store my listings for more then 1 year and now listing disappear after 3 months unless i keep relisting them and pay ebay lousy fees it just pushing sellers away from ebay
i tried this at the first of last year when it came out......FAIL! i gave it an entire weekend and listed everything with it. it was horrible. maybe theyve made it better but looking at your video it looks to have many of the same problems. the photo editing was very clunky (cant just move a photo, it swaps places instead). having to click on every option then going into a scroll menu to find your buttons is 3 times slower than simply putting it all on a single page and letting me type in my info. there were several other issues. at the end of the weekend i went back to the normal way and i refuse to try it again until they force me. LOL
Couple of things: when you copy an existing text eg from another platform it removes all formates and writes everything in one long sentence. Absolute minus for that!! So much more clicking! Awful!!! And the worst: I have a cross listing program that does not work in the new format. ☹️☹️☹️ Big question: how did you switch back?? They said that you can switch back at any time but where and how??? Does anybody know that??? PLEASE!!!
Interesting. I’ll have to see if this is an option for me. I think the upload to mobile thing didn’t notify you because you closed out of the window instead of pressing the ok button.
The problem with your video is that you used an item that is already listed. Try a new listing. The new tool sucks. It tries to be intuitive but it is not! There is no longer "media mail" as a method of shipping. I spent 10 minutes working on a listing and then went to preview...it lost my work!! I hate it!!! Going to try Ebid.
@@510Books Just forced on me. Your first look was fair BUT you needed to try it starting from scratch and setting up in a new category and the shipping options etc. I don't know what is going on in that section!

Thankfully, I haven't had any issues with the new listing page.

To switch back to "Classic View" just hover over and click on the three dots in the top right corner and then select the last option.

I like that upload from phone option. I did get the notification to upload soon after.

I was forced to use it recently and it was very different. Time will tell.
