I really love theses. A very massive improvement over the classic Oreck. I really wanted the Titanium one that was featured in the infomercial when I was little.
Yeah, cool machine, dude! I repaired one for a former customer (now deceased). It had a full bag and a broken fan. I repaired it and also installed new carbon brushes. The bag was packed so full of dirt it was like a sack of flour. Before his passing, my customer/ friend said it worked like brand new.

The XL 21 that I own is loud, as well, but not as loud as any of the classic XLs that I own.
But at least these aren't shrilling loud like the XL Classics
