I've always love seeing those group activities taking place in China's park. Aunties dancing, singing, people playing music, playing chess etc. Lovely video just show it as is. 👍
Police in the UK would probably move a big group of people on (dispersing them) if they were to sing in a public place. The charge would be "disturbance of the peace" if they don't obey the order. In many ways, China has far more freedom than the West. The Chinese people are happy people, living a good and enjoyable life. In the UK, many old people are poor, sick and lonely. No one looks after them. The lucky ones are those who are well off, or have relatives living nearby. But generally, there are not many outdoor activities that they can participate, especially activities that are free of charge. I have watched many UA-cam videos about China and compare life in China with that in the West. Arguably, the quality of life in China is better. Some Western friends of mine do not like socialist or communist countries. But they have never visited them to form an unbiased view. All they hear and see in their media about China is fake news, or with a negative slant on the reporting.

Zhaoqing is so nice. It's might not have the extravagant stuffs in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, but the natural beauty is so good. People are not busy, so they will go the extra mile to help. Pace of life is slow, hence suitable for the relaxed and retired. The other thing is that proper Cantonese is spoken over there, with no lazy pronunciations.

We had some nice parks near my apartment in Pudong, great places to go for a walk and relax, always very safe, no worries at all 😍👍
I am 63 living in southern China and an American. I can ride the city FREE all day long, as many stops as I want. They are all clean and comfortable, plus safe. Under 60 in our city 1 RMB per trip.

You can even know from the video that you are next to Xinghu Lake .Zhaoqing is a small third-tier city in northwest Guangdong. Cities like Zhaoqing are the most common type in China. It's not poor, but it's not rich either, but it's a very livable city with a slow pace of life, great facilities, and some very beautiful natural scenery.

It's very much easier editing on your laptop when wifi is available. Although sometimes when there aren't any wifi I would use my own data from my phone through tethering. But the speed depends on how fast or how much the network is lagging, which almost always lags for me. Suppose we don't have 5G yet in most places, unlike in China, 5G almost covers the entire country even in whatever nook and cranny you are in. Aahhh..well

Thats like having 10 great plates of food, any suggestions which one or two to eat? July crazy hot, travel as light as possible NO Coat. Personally I'd stay away from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen.
