I have to give props to anyone who could possibly do this. I really cant imagine the kind of pain ... CONSTANT pain that it would take to cause me to even consider it. unfortunately I have had more than my share of prostate exams. They are way bad enough but to lie there as someone is just basically feeling around trying to find something. I have pain and it is very regular but not constant and even if it were I am not sure I could be ok with this plan. However I do thank you for your detailed presentation .
This was an excellent and informative video. Dr Shelly mentions at the start of the video a book entitled “Facing Pelvic Pain”. I’ve purchased this book and I highly recommend it for its clarity and simple explanations on this topic of pelvic pain. I am not generally a reader of medical books but this book was written for all of us who suffer from these conditions and do not have a medical degree. If you or a loved one falls into this unpleasant situation, you would be well serviced with this book by your side. Good Luck! R
If it is so important to inform the practitioner, if you’re feeling pain or discomfort, why aren’t measures taken to make sure that you do not feel them in the first place?
It's important to not even have a female in the room. And all of thisis unnecessary anyway They should have a report from your dr. Who obviously sent you there and knows the problem if not do an ultrasound. No way I'd ever let her or any woman or man do this.
Another female who knows more then men !! Tell me one reason I should see a female instead of a male who btw has male equipment!! I think the choice is easy I go with the male who has my equipment!
And a woman is explaining this why ? Its not like she would ever do an internal exam on a male. Besides its completely unnecessary. I wouldn't even let a real dr. do this female or male. And she only treats women

There's no need for this. A woman wouldn't perform this on a male anyway. So I don't even know why she even made this video.
Thanks for posting, very educational. Where are you located?
No education whatsoever. Why would any male go through this bullshit with a woman

Anyone can Google it. You have to experience it to be able to talk about it Or fix it.
If you examine a male, is there another person observing? (ie female nurse observes male doctor doing internal exam on female patient?)
Very great information!
How in anyway was this informative. Not only is it someone who doesn't even have the same anatomy. And she's not even a real Dr.. Plus tjis is all BS
Maybe you r right, but I have never known it before . She is not a doctor physical therapist?

Elise d md I have pelvic floor weakness please I have question I’m pe less than minute do I need to see pelvic floor therapist thank you
Shouldn't you be asking A real dr. A male dr at that.
It seems like penile shaft pain can be caused by of an overly aggressive circumcision.
Your speaking to a woman. Ask a real dr.
Another female who knows more then men !! Tell me one reason I should see a female instead of a male who btw has male equipment!! I think the choice is easy I go with the male who has my equipment!
Men are being forced out of and away from the medical and teaching fields !
There is absolutely no reason. Only lonely men would see a women. Even though it's all bullcrap
