Kith x Madison Square Garden x New Balance 990 V6 "NY Knicks": Review & On-Feet

- Earlier this week, Kith released their special collaboration with Madison Square Garden, dropping two colourways of the New Balance 990 V6. Inspired by the teams that call MSG home, the pair I'm reviewing today draw inspiration from the team colours of the NBA's New York Knicks. This Made in USA pair features cream and grey base layers, along with the signature orange and blue that have made the Knicks one of the most recognizable sport franchises in the world. I was lucky to get a pair during the Kithstrike. As a New Yorker and lifelong Knicks fan, this pair was a must!
Why they release these in 12 and 13 only though? Where's the 12.5? I got the lapis in 13 and it's more than a thumb width of room. They're wearable, definitely not TOO big. But I'd think a 12.5 would be perfect. I'm assuming a 12 may be too small
As a New Yorker and Knicks fan these were a no brainer. So glad the orange and blue hits are subtle cause I’ve never been a huge fan of the knicks/mets colors lol

I just got these in today. I take back what I said about it looking like a drafted cream GR. The mesh is a much lighter tone. The mudguard and heel panel are a different shade as well. And contrary to popular belief, blue and orange is one of my favorite color combos. Also the 990v6 is my favorite sneaker of the year! Good job New Balance! Good job Ronnie! I always tune into your reviews love the format keep it up 🔥 but I’m not a fan of 990v6 don’t really like how they look on feet but they executed these very well. I had to pass on these unfortunately (feels almost criminal to say this since I’m from queens New York 😂)

I just don't like the v6 I had a chance to get these but passed I keep waiting for a CW to change my mind but i just can't pull the trigger and o don't wanna by a shoe for hype and not wear it.

I think it's mildly comical that slapping a couple names on it and changing the color scheme suddenly makes it a hype or collectible sneaker. As if these shoes aren't all made with the same materials and we're talking about adding orange and blue to call it "MSG" or "Knicks." It's the laziest way to charge more $ and make it seem unique.
