@@RoderickJMacdonald In some ways, I feel lucky as a Habs' fan since 2005 only, because I didn't live through the multiple dynasties the team had between the 1940s and 1970s. Totally understand what you mean when saying you get nervous after 6 straight home wins and the team you cheer for has home ice advantage in game 7. I got the same feeling in the Swedish playoffs of 2021/22 where this actually happened. Six straight home wins in the final, only for my team to lose game 7 at home, not scoring (0-3) as well. While I "knew"/feared it would happen, it totally crushed my spirit....
For most younger Leafs fans it was the endings in 1993 and when Sundin already had plans to go on vacation days before they were eliminated from the playoffs.
Actually, that 1988 Final technically ended in an Edmonton sweep over Boston. The game that was originally Game 4 was suspended when the power went out in the Boston Garden just after Edmonton tied the game 3-3 and would have been replayed in its entirety if it had gone to a deciding game, which didn't happen as the Oilers won the official Game 4 at Northlands.
Great video Shannon! You are a encyclopedia of hockey knowledge… I’m kinda shocked you didn’t have game 6 of the ‘93 western conference final on this list. Gotta put my vote in for... ---------------------------------------------- April 19, 2004 1st. Round - CGY vs. VAN - Game 7 This game made me lose it, because of the damn roller-coaster of emotions in this series.. Going from feeling hyped after being the eighth seed, and managing to trade games early on, Sinking after CGY wins games 4, and 5 handily. Then some faint glimmer of hope returns after VAN has a long fought 3OT game 6 win. Jump forward with the nerve-wracking game 7, now in the dying seconds of the 3rd period and the feelings of complete resignation have fully set in as CGY is leading 2 - 1. Then (right after Jovanovski took a penalty that will at no point be consequential... don't even worry) Like a captain possessed and pure clutch... Naslund scores with 5 or so seconds left to tie the game, and force OT... Having just had it blown off, my house was in need of roof repair! Throughout the entire 20 min. intermission, we are all positively buzzing, practically planning (miles away from reality at this point) the Stanley Cup Parade Route!! OT Starts... Let me tell ya... My psyche (after the series long emotional Yo-Yoing) fell from those heady heights pretty abruptly when at only... one and half minutes into OT (remember that "inconsequential" Jovo penalty...) Martin Gelinas scored a power play goal to (if I'm being honest) mercifully end things for us fans. I hope a remembered things accurately....

While I "knew"/feared it would happen, it totally crushed my spirit....
For most younger Leafs fans it was the endings in 1993 and when Sundin already had plans to go on vacation days before they were eliminated from the playoffs.
Year dates would be awesome Shannon! There's oh... you correct yourself at @3:52. Thank you sir. A bonus feature, rather*
Im still raging about the bruins im 2011 beating the canucks. Never will be over that year as a canucks fan.
Any true hockey fan knows the Leafs got screwed by Kerry Fraser (and Gary Bettman) which could’ve produced an EPIC Stanley Cup Final (Leafs vs Habs) which we know would’ve been a better final than Kings/Habs. As a Leaf fan my entire life, I will never forget that game and game 7… well that will haunt me for the rest of my life lol. Keep up the great work!
I'm surprised to not see the stars Vs Knights game in the list
How did you not have any 02 Canucks vs red wings? I’d imagine you were probably losing your mind watching that series and or games.
That one wasn't so much rage-inducing as it was "ahhh, yep. Here we go". Once that Lidstrom goal went in, as a Canucks fan you knew it was over.
I am shocked that Bos at Pit 1991 round 3 game 3 isn't on your list. You know the one. I was at that game and 15 rows behind the visiting bench. Milbury went *ballistic* and almost broke the glass.
I love this list
Montreal living in THG’s head rent free, see you next time Vancouver are making the finale Youpi said.
I'm genuinely surprised that the game 7 between Dallas and St. Louis in 2019 where Otter stood on his head did not make an appearance.
Because Ben Bishop stood on his head that game. Oettinger wasn't a thing until a couple years later. He stood on his head the whole series vs Calgary in 2022
The Game 7 losses against St Louis and Florida were the absolute lowest I've ever felt as a Bruins fan and sports fan in general
Gotta put my vote in for...

1st. Round - CGY vs. VAN - Game 7
This game made me lose it, because of the damn roller-coaster of emotions in this series..
*chelsea dagger intensifies*
The duality of man! ❤
2011 SCF for me. I hated boston and was a huge luongo Fan.
Toronto losing to Montreal was priceless!
7-0 game seven lost in 2002 for my Avs. Up in the series. So painful.
2000 First round game 7 SJ at StL still hurts today
Montreal has skated around Boston ice with the cup more than the Bruins have :)
I was expecting here Red Wings @ Canucks when Lidstrom goal from the center ice.
game 7s man....yeah...the most frustrating rage inducing game for me as a Ducks fan was vs LA, 2014, game 7....just what a horrible showing from the ducks and against LA!!
You got your Oilers Bruins power outage game mixed up. It wasn't game 2 in 1990, it was game 4 in 1988.
Being slightly older than Shannon I was surprised the Habs massive upset win over Bruins in ‘84, backstopped by Steve Penney, didn’t make the list.
I totally agree with you for number 1😢! My husband took the day off to watch the game and ended up falling asleep in the third period
"At number fifteen"... you skipped 17 and 16, lol. Too many videos at once does make it hard to count, lol.
I appreciate your videos. I hope your Vacation is still going well!
As an Avalanche fan my list would be
1. Game 7 vs Kiviranta... i mean the Stars
2 Blowing Nates hat trick and game winner game 5 vs the Blues
3 Game 6 2002 WCF vs the Wings, that close to back to back cups and lay an egg at home pissed me off
Wild vs Canucks game 7 in 2003 was brutal. I was like 15 it rocked my whole world.
